Toot's Malahide Road Train aims to provide a service that is affordable, safe and most importantly enjoyable. Accompanied by music as standard, but live commentary when required. The service commences from Malahide Dart station (if arriving by rail) and continues through the village allowing for scenic views of the Marina, Green and Village Shopping allowing for a pick up/hop-off stop at the beach

car park, Grand Hotel (upon request), Carnegie Library/Village Stop (and another dip into the station) and lastly terminating at the Castle Visitor Centre (our current covid starting point from 10.30am) via our exclusive west lawn access. The tour lasts 30-40 minutes and the service will pickup from the dart station every 20 minutes for frequency of international tourism visitation. The service operates Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 5.30pm and Saturday & Sunday 10am till 6pm peak season. Low Season will be to the discretion of management and the inclusion of events during Halloween and Christmas. Please note that a weekend service will operate both Saturday & Sunday at this time.

We have provided digital clocks inserted at our boards at the Rail Station and the Castle Set Downs, and light up when operational. https://revolut.me/michaeuhpd or correct monies are best for a smoother timely transaction, and please note we have Perspex dividing seated areas for your protection. Social distancing and your normal sanitary routines are desired and our vehicle is open aired so masks will be to the discretion of the visitor.

Ok we’re back! New Gearbox, Clutch, Starting Motor and repaired Engine is the badly needed upgrade we’d pencilled in for this November until T***sie begged to differ!
We’re now ready to send 1 carriage to local legend Clive Daly and his team for a total refurb, and simply swap over the next in a timely manner. We’ll remove old vinyl layers and simply sand and fill the panels before a fab updated Red, Silver and Gold painted finish!
Our new interactive Castle Board complete with new digital countdown clock which should be heaps of fun while you wait! 📸
Again, we’re a small family business enterprise that has your families best interests at heart. Always🥰
We’ll steam clean today and be ready for service Wednesday 30th August from 10.30am and daily until Septembers end😉

While we have been blessed with the availability of a very reputable engineer, the hope is that the fix can be repaired asap! We sincerely apologise for our absence and I will update as soon as I hear. 🙏🚂
