Applications are now open for the WAMSB regional event Aug 14-17th 2026 and the WAMSB World Championships Aug 13-16th 2027.

One of our coaches pictured at Anfield yesterday on a school tour organised by Celtic Horizon Tours 🚌 The students traveled to Manchester on Thursday, where they enjoyed an exciting Man Utd game at Old Trafford on Thursday evening. ⚽️ On the way home yesterday a stop was organised at Anfield – Balancing the Manchester United 🔱👹 and Liverpool FC 🏟️rivalry between our onboard supporters! A great experience for all involved!

WAMSB WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS – IRELAND 2027

We are thrilled to announce that the 2027 World Association Of Marching Show Bands (WAMSB) World Championships will take place in Galway, Ireland.
In a combined hosting bid, the IMBA - Irish Marching Bands Association and Celtic Horizon Tours along with support from Galway City Council and the University of Galway have been awarded the hosting of this world class music event for the summer of 2027.
Galway City will play host to 1000’s of musicians and dancers featuring Marching Bands, Drum Corps, Concert Bands and Music Ensembles for the 3 day festival which is scheduled for 13th – 15th Aug 2027.

Chris Herard, Interim President & CEO, WAMSB International says:
“WAMSB International is thrilled to award the 2027 World Championships to Galway, Ireland. Bands from around the world will be looking forward to attending this prestigious event in 2027. Congratulations to the host committee and thank you for all your preparation and support. We look forward to working with you to help make the 2027 WAMSB World Championships in Galway an event to remember for the people of Galway and the participating bands from around the world.”

Oisin Molloy, Chairperson of the Irish Marching Bands Association quoted:
“The IMBA are thrilled to be working alongside our partners at Celtic Horizon Tours & WAMSB to create what promises to be an amazing 3 day festival in 2027.
