Are you ready for the Mulranny We are looking for volunteers to come along and help make a difference together.
Please come along to Murrivaugh Beach on Saturday, the 21st of September at 1pm. We will have some Cleaning Kits available or please bring along your own gloves and pickers if you have them.
This year as Clean Coasts volunteers we are asked to be part of a round the world citizen science data collection project and to carry out marine litter surveys to quantify the amount and types of litter on Irish beaches. These surveys are aimed at heightening awareness about the issue of marine litter and serve as an indicator of the magnitude of the problem. Survey sheets will be provided on the day. Please spread the word, come along on the day and help to keep our beautiful beaches clean!
