⭐️Camino Day 4⭐️ Palas de Rei to Arzua with @thehikepsych and @uwalk.ie
29km - This day is know as The Day of the Dead Legs and it certainly lived up to it 😂.
The 4th (3rd day of walking) is often the one people struggle with the most and that was true for our group, but only for the first couple of kilometres thankfully!
You’ve had two long days of walking and a day of travelling, the feet and legs are sore, you haven’t had much sleep and you feel like you’re the only one feeling it. But everyone is and once we started sharing the struggle it suddenly felt lighter and turned into the most brilliant and fun day.
We were greeted in Arzua by the most beautiful river, which was a joyous relief to our tired feet and legs!
Again we had the option for a shorter route if required and that was a welcome relief for some of the blister crew 🫣😬😂.
Cannot wait to see what tomorrow brings.
Our hotel for the night is The Hotel Arzua @hotelarzua which is on the Camino trail so very handy and despite only being rated as a two star hotel is absolutely perfect!

"My god it was amazing!
It felt easy. 😭😭😭
Ive worked so hard the last year and to come back and feel fitter, better and stronger. My heart has been screaming with joy.
To my coach @lynn_o_leary and @gemma_nicole_stanley what you have taught me it’s perfect to be me, it’s perfect to go for performance goals, it’s perfect to want to change but to also love myself as I am.
She will kill me for this share as her first question was who am I training Trisha Lewis or Trishas transformation- she seen the struggle in me on that first call and helped me see I can only fill my cup before I fill anyone else’s.
I don’t wanna gate keep anymore😭🤣
I’ve never felt as confident in the last year, I also haven’t shared Lynn because I was scared it was a fluke. But it’s not. She and Gemma have changed my life and I count my lucky stars that I have them in my corner.
They remind me of who I am. They mind me when I’m sad. They lift me up when I need it and more than anything they understand that weight loss is a battle and they are there for me in more ways than just a calorie deficit.
My journey changed and levelled up with these girls and this is not an AD they are the best money I spend every month on my health.
Next year, I’ll want to jog some of it and I know I will because I’ll have a check in Monday and within hours the plan of action will come into play. It will be doable, easy and I’ll do it with utter confidence because it’s tailored to me!
I can do hard things 😭😭😭
