A historic Stud farm run by David & Tamso Cox set in the heart of the Thoroughbred County of Kildare

Under their current ownership of the Cox family, Baroda and Rosetown Stud Farms have been developed into a boutique stud operation, offering temporary and permanent boarding for mares. The two farms cover a total of over 450 acres of the highest quality limestone land, which has the reputation of being some of the finest soil in all of Ireland. They provide excellent facilities to board mares and

spell horses and our experienced staff pride themselves on their attention to the horses in their care. Located in the heart of thoroughbred country just outside Newbridge in Co. Kildare, Baroda is conveniently placed to avail of the services of many of Ireland’s top stallion farms. Walk-out mares are teased, vetted and ready for covering before being transported, using our own vehicle to the stallion, which means we ensure your mare is covered at the optimum time. Our facilities are currently being used by clients from Ireland, France, UK and USA and owners are very welcome to call at anytime to see their horses or indeed to visit the farms.

We have a good role available in Baroda, Broodmare/Foaling. We have a great team on site and nice accomodation so it should be a great job for the right person.

Broodmare Manager - Baroda Stud:-

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Broodmare Manager. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing broodmares and foaling.

Duties will include overseeing the health and well-being of our broodmares, coordinating breeding schedules, and ensuring proper nutrition and veterinary care. You will be responsible for liaising with our vets as well as maintaining accurate records of breeding and health information to a high standard.

Additionally, the role will involve driving machinery for farm maintenance and care.

The successful candidate will possess strong organisational skills, the ability to work independently and also with others, and a deep understanding of equine reproductive management and foaling mares.
