I hope you are all keeping well. This is my first season in 10 years that I haven't been running day tours and hotel breaks and it has felt strange i must admit. I have missed the craic with you all on the phone and on the road. So I hope you all have found a great new operator and are enjoying touring in the good weather.

Happy New Year

New Year is nearly upon us. If I'm honest I'll be rolling over into a deep sleep by the ringing in of 2023. I look forward to exploring my way through 2023, its highs and I'm sure some lows because that's the reality of life it's a mixed bag. But now I choose to do the work so I always have a healthy mindset to approach each day. So I control my mood, not my situation controlling my mood.

Your dreams are not lost if you didn't achieve them in 2022.

Your life is not stuck because your situation hasn't changed before the bells ring out on 2022.

Hang up your big ideals that we put on one move of the clock, 12am on the 31st December is only one small move of the clock in the grand picture of our lives.

There is no expiry date on your hopes, dreams & wishes.

Once your heart is still beating then your hopes & dreams are all within reach. You are your own hero & biggest cheerleader not the ticking hands of a clock.

Small meaningful steps will lead you to those wishes & dreams. Celebrations are amazing to create fun & excitement so enjoy tonight but don't make it anything it's not.

Happy New Year everyone, there's no rules to how you live your life as long as you move with care & grace. Do it your way and in your own time.

One of our lovely groups coming back from their 4 day break to Donegal. They had a gorgeous meal as usual in Watters Old Coach Inn and had a lovely surprise visit from the Cavan Rose. We wish Tara Nic Ruairì all the very best at the 2022 Rose Of Tralee.

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer.

It has been a very busy few months thankfully. Its great to see all our customers out having fun and making memories touring again.
Our booking for day tours & Hotel breaks is now closed for 2022 as our calendar is now full.
However we still have places left on our fabulous Christmas Party we are hosting is Cabra Castle on the 7th December. So don't delay and get booking today as places are limited. It promises to be a party you won't forget.

I hope everyone had a lovely bank holiday weekend. Let’s start off the week with some exciting news, our 2022 Christmas Party is officially all booked & planned with precision.
We are so excited to share it with you all as we have pulled out all the party tricks for this exciting show stopping event on the 7th December 2022 in the majestic Cabra Castle.

I hope you are all getting ready for some competitive chocolate eating at the weekend! I’m already in training 😁

Firstly I want to thank you all for your continued support I really am so grateful because I know it’s challenging times at the moment with price increases on our packages due to diesel prices and inflation on restaurant prices and attraction entry fees ect.
Thankfully it has been a crazy busy few weeks with bookings and this means we only have very limited dates left available for bookings. We have space for 5 more day tours and 3 hotel breaks and then we are fully booked through to the end of October. Hi Everyone, I hope your all having a lovely weekend.

The office will be closed Tuesday the 8th of March but will reopen on Wednesday the 9th at 9am. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Also happy international women's day for Tuesday and I hope all our female customers will be getting spoilt, or spoil yourself for the day.

I have attached a great sea dip charity event which is on in Co Louth on Tuesday it has nothing to do with Memory Tours but I taught some of you might like it.
Memory Tours have donated a couple of tours to the raffle on the day of the event, so you could be lucky on the day 😀

Hi All

I hope you are all having a lovely week. Here I present you with our yearly Bord Bia Bloom festival trip. We are again running all the coaches on the first day which is Thursday June 2nd as we always like to get our customer in on the first day of the festival as the ground deteriorates after that with the huge crowds the show attracts.
We do like to try and think of everything to make our customers experience the best it can be on our tours.
The last time we ran this package back in 2019 we had 5 coach loads of customers up at the festival from different corners of Ireland so don’t delay in booking to avoid disappointment.

We look forward to getting back on the road to Bloom, it’s always a great day out.

News Flash 📸

Our new brochures arrived yesterday after a bit of a delay at the printers. We already have half of them gone out to our community groups & private customers and the rest will hopefully be in envelopes and out in Fridays post.
I'm not sure if I'll still have power in my hands after all these envelopes are filled though 😅

We have listened to all your feedback and we now understand people don't want to relive the past Christmas as it was a difficult two years for everyone living with covid restrictions. So we have renamed our party a more positive event Memory Tours Welcome Back Party. All the same goodness just a different name. Get booking as the first date is already filling up & we are only on the 3rd day after it being released.

The other elements that have caused our prices to rise is that our supplier prices have gone up, venue prices, coaches and bands. All these increases have to be fitted into our pricing. I just wanted to explain the reason to you all because I know myself when I buy a product I sometimes forget that there are many supplier prices included in that one price that I see before me.

EXCITING NEWS FLASH

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend.

Some exciting news to come tomorrow. We are well known for our great Christmas Parties. Many of you have been to them, well nearly 800 was at them in 2019 prior to covid and we have really missed the craic of them over the last few years.

Would you think I was crazy or a genius if I told you we are going to have our Christmas Parties in April????

I'm very excited to be getting back to work and getting the bus loads of happy Memory Tours customers back travelling the length & breath of Ireland.
Since mammy passed away I have been spending many days at the beach soul searching & soaking up its healing, so don't be surprised when you see some new wellness packages on our brochures this year 😊. I'm in the middle of building our Hotel breaks brochure & our 2022 day tours so watch your mail box in the coming weeks.

I have made small changes to the way the business will run going forward so you will notice our office phone line opening hours will now be reduced to Monday to Friday 9am to 2pm (after this time we will be busy building the packages that are booked when the phone lines are open). I have learned the importance of finding a happy work life balance.

Memory Tours office will be closed until 5th July.
Many of you have heard me talk about mam many times. She was always helping me with Memory Tours if it was advice or preparing the brochures for posting out to you all.

My mammy, the most loving, caring, gentle & funny person I will ever have the pleasure of known. Im so proud I got to call her my mother & my best friend, i love you. 67 years on this earth was not long enough but you will always be walking by our sides ###

Even Memory Tours mascot Riley the dog is dreaming of the day we get back on the coaches. I hope you are all keeping safe & well, I have my first round of vacination thankfully and looking forward to getting my 2nd in two weeks. We are hopefully on the road to recovery & tours will be back in no time.
We have been working behind the scenes on designing some exciting new package ideas for the future.
