Please like and share this page if you have had positive experience in Portlaoise Hosptial. There have been hundreds and thousand of healthy babies born in the maternity ward of Portlaoise hospital who received a very high level of care from the midwife's who have dedicate their lives to their career. I want to stress that this is not to take away from the devastated families who lost children and

had horrific experience in the hospital. This is to the support the staff who played no part in the wrong doings. Please do not post any negative comments or they will be taken down. There are midwife's suffered from extreme levels of stress, out of work on sick leave from stress, their families, children and friends are all suffering. These are people who for years have been warning the HSC that they are being over worked, working in a hospital with lack of resources, wrote to the HSC asking for help and were ignored
