We were thrilled to open the doors of our chocolate factory to visitors once again this morning.

The chocolate factory will be open from 10am - 5pm every day for the remainder of the summer.

***Please note that we cannot take bookings***

We expect that it will be busy at peak times (from 1pm onwards) and when it rains.

Please try and arrive early to avoid queues.

The beautiful colourful fishing village of Portmagee is located along the Skellig Ring in County Kerry Ireland. From here you will find boat trips to the UNESCO world heritage sites of Skellig Michael. A little bit of history on the name of the town Portmagee comes from Captain Theobald Magee, a notorious 18th-century smuggler. Having served in the army of King James as an officer, Magee 'retired' to a life of merchant shipping between France, Portugal and Ireland. Thanks to the many inlets around the South West coast, his trade in contraband spirits, textiles and tea and to***co was hard to police and therefore very profitable. Due to the port being Magee's port the village was named Portmagee. 💚🇮🇪

Aerial views of Portmagee Village - Our Award Winning Crab Claws are sourced by local fisherman in waters just off the harbour! Our team then cook and hand peel each of them. They are then delivered directly to our Fish Shops and Seafood bars around Kerry and Cork City 🙌🏼
