When your lovely Italian guests take a quiet stroll through the village of Bartlemy and end up getting close and personal with some cows, tasting Irish milk in the milking parlour, meeting the one and only John Arnold, who's Italian wouldn't be the best I might add 😉 and end up in d'Echo 😁 A great weekend spent in the countryside, having a barbecue and getting sunburnt ! All the way from Milan and Venice and poor Lorenzo got sunburnt in Bartlemy 🙈😂

Such a perk of 'the job"....meeting some of the nicest people from all around the globe. When your guests came to Ireland 2 weeks ago and stayed in Dublin, then Westport, then Doolin, then Di**le, you are fairly sure they've planned well and have had a great time. Then they come to Cork....to Bartlemy....and they tell you it's the BEST place they've stayed in throughout their trip !!!!! What a pleasure and an honour, to play such a special part in someone's hard earned holiday 💗

All set to welcome my Spanish guests to Bartlemy, for what is typically the last week of Summer holidays in Ireland 🤗 And what a summer it has been for Cathy's Cottage 🩷🩷🩷🩷 Since June we have welcomed guests from Northern Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Slovenia, Australia, Canada, America, Malta, England and of course Irish staycationers....all to Bartlemy !!!!!! And they all LOVED it 🥰🥰🥰 They love the beauty, the peace, the people. The love how close we are to so many tourist spots. As I say 'Welcome to Bartlemy, the middle of nowhere but the heart of everywhere'. Here's to the Autumn, to whatever and whoever it brings 🥂

This cottage had seen Over 120 Christmas Seasons......this year, Cathy's Cottage welcomed guests from Scotland, Malaysia and the UK for the Christmas season 🎄 Thank you to each and every guest who stayed with us this year, our first year as an Airbnb.....in Bartlemy 😁 Who would have thought!!!
