For all your groceries and household shopping O’Reilly’s Londis and Rosscarbery Pharmacy, for crafts and clothing Hubberts Crafts and Drip Coffee also stock plants and homewares. To pamper yourself, there is Rebecca’s Beauty Salon, Patricia's Hair Salon and Fern Hair Lounge. For entertainment there is O’Brien’s Bar and see our previous post for all the food options Ross offers! Finally, there is also an An Post office and Rosscarbery Medical Centre, just in case.

On a seasonal basis there’s ice-cream vans, Galley Head Ice Cream Co and Drip Coffee for refreshments. Along with the latest addition Better Dayz Sauna, you'll also find yoga with Lena and SurfnSup West Cork here. Our guests enjoy ✨️ discounted rates ✨️ for the Celtic Ross Hotel Leisure Centre which has a range of facilities including: 13m swimming pool, children’s pool, bubble pool, sauna, steam room and fully equipped gym. There is also a full schedule of fitness classes with non-member rates available.

The hotel is beside our Traditional Cottages, a 5 minute walk, and 10 minute walk from our Bay View Houses, although it may take a bit longer walking back up the hill!

Since we did a 📷 of our Traditional Cottage 'Maple', it's only right we tour our Bay View Houses too!

Each of our nine, split-level Bay View houses have two bedrooms (one ensuite) and can accommodate up to five people. With a fully equipped kitchen, living room and outdoor space with seating. All everyday facilities are provided, including: washing machine, dryer, microwave, dishwasher, WIFI, etc.

Our Bay View Houses offer spectacular views of Rosscarbery lagoon, the coast and surrounding countryside.

Tour our Traditional Cottage No. 12 "Maple" 🍁

Each cottage has three comfortable bedrooms, two bathrooms and can accommodate up to six people. Fully equipped kitchen with all everyday facilities; including: washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, dishwasher, etc. Each also has a small private outdoor space, with a seating area and washing line.

Happy St. Brigid’s Day! Today, February 1st we celebrate St. Brigid and also Imboloc, the beginning of Spring.

St. Brigid is an important figure in both Christian and Celtic traditions, one of the patron saints of Ireland. Additionally, in Celtic mythology, Brigid is a goddess associated with healing, poetry, and craftsmanship, bridging the gap between pagan and Christian beliefs.
