Close to Mulranny beach and golf course, the famous Greenway cycling path, Ballycroy National Park, Croagh Patrick and on the gateway to Achill Island � Deceptively spacious Bobby's Cottage comes with mod cons, cooking & laundry facilities to provide you a warm and comfortable home away from home. You will have three very private and separate bedrooms; an en-suite double, a second double and twin
-single room. Bobby’s Cottage has recently been extended to include extra bedrooms and make the most of the stunning views, whilst maintaining many of the original features of the existing cottage. The new extension is just as warm and cosy as the original part of the house. There’s a large new bathroom and a recently added sitting room with a dining table looking across green fields towards Croagh Patrick.

Goats in the City
Our nannies look like they are enjoying a good natter about the week ahead … and what a WEEK it’s going to be!!
We are expecting our new arrivals any day now, and our nanny crew are very relaxed and comfortable and enjoying their last few hours of peace!
Before we find ourselves in the middle of the Kidding festivities we just wanted to take a moment to thank all the OIG volunteers who will be helping us with Kidding Season 2023! The OIG mums will be taking on the majority of the duties of course, and will be under the care and watchful eye of , but we are also surrounded by incredible volunteers who will be helping to keep an eye on our new mums and their adorable arrivals throughout! We are very grateful for your care and dedication to the Old Irish Goats! ❤️🐐 It’s a wonderful team and exciting week ahead for everyone!
For now, much like the nannies we will relish the calm and the beautiful views!
We wish all our caprine mommas & the team - a week of safe and healthy arrivals! We can’t wait to welcome the next generation of Old Irish Goats! ❤️🐐

Prince Albert of Monaco was in Newport to unveil a statue of his late mother, Grace Kelly 💕
Did you know: Princess Grace, whose ancestors were from this part of Ireland, was an award-winning Hollywood actress before she married a prince 🤴💘

The movie in which our special VIP guests were featured is out this weekend!!
Two young members of the cast and their families stayed here at Bobby’s Cottage in 2021 whilst filming for My Sailor, My Love.
Every day a chauffeur in a black limousine would collect the girls from the cottage and take them to set!
The premiere of 'My Sailor, My Love' is happening this evening at Mayo Movie World, and will be on general release in Ireland from tomorrow. The film was shot on Achill and the Corraun peninsula. We can't wait to see it
