Hawker 800 XP First Officers
Gainjet Ireland Ltd would like to hear from experienced HS125 First Officers for present and future positions which may arise in the organisation.

Requirements :

• EASA ATPL or Frozen ATPL
• Class One EASA Medical
• Valid Type Rating on HS125 or recently expired HS125 TR
• 1,500 hours Total Time
• 500 hours on Type

Candidates will need to provide referees to attest to the applicant`s experience, professionalism and character.

Gainjet Ireland are celebrating this week. We are 8 years in business in Shannon Airport. From small beginnings with the first EJ registered jet in Ireland to today, operating the largest fleet of Gulfstream aircraft in Western Europe and substantial provider of ferry and delivery flights services to the lessor industry. Accountable Manager Ray Mills said " Gainjet Ireland is a significant employer in the Shannon area and we recently opened an office in Dublin due to projected growth in the company" and he continued, "We are delighted to be celebrating such a milestone today".

Gainjet Ireland, one of the largest Gulfstream operators in Western Europe are please to announce the appointment of the highly experienced Mike Davies as Ground Operations Manager based here in Shannon Airport.

Mike brings with him over 30 years of experience and has worked for some of the biggest names in commercial and private aviation. Mike has been the Deputy Ground Operations Manager at Gainjet Ireland since 2021.

In Mike's new role, he will be the IAA/EASA approved Ground Operations Post Holder, responsible for the safe and efficient scheduling of aircraft and flight crew. In addition he and his team will provide his technical expertise on routes we operate, weight and balance of aircraft, training, documentation and managing third party suppliers.

Operations Officer
The role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our Operations team at Shannon Airport.
Reporting to the Operations manager your will assist in the day-to-day tasks associated with the running of the Operations department.
Duties will be varied and can include the following:
• Monitoring the daily flying programme for any changes and revising as necessary.
• Liaising with maintenance and other departments on operational matters as required.
• Coordination of flight and ground activities including overflight and landing permits.
• Flight watch of active flights.
• Monitoring and recording crew flight time duty limitations.
• Maintaining post flight records.
• Knowledge of company manuals and procedures.
• Flexible and willing to be on call if required.
• Other duties as and when required.
Desirable Skills:
• Operational experience, ideally gained within a Business Aviation environment.
• Knowledge of flight planning, permit and trip planning would be advantageous but training can be provided.
• Excellent IT skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work and stay calm under pressure.
A valid driving licence and passport is essential as you may be required to travel in this role.
You must hold the rights to live and work in the EU and salary will be based on experience and knowledge.
Office hours are Monday to Friday 9-5 with rotating out of hours on call from home.
This could be an excellent entry to business aviation for a suitably motivated candidate with relevant skills and an interest in aviation.

BREAKING NEWS! Gainjet Ireland are delighted to announce that they are the first Company in Ireland to be awarded Guernsey (2-REG) Ferry Operator Section 77 Approval (Private Operator Certificate).

Mr Ray Mills, Accountable Manager confirmed that Gainjet Ireland is already providing a significant number of Ferry and Delivery flights to a number of Lessors currently. Guernsey’s Aircraft Registry (the “Registry” or “2-REG”) fulfills a key role in the global aviation sector by providing an interim register for commercial aircraft transitioning between leases. Gainjet Ireland are one of the largest Gulfstream operators in Europe and also provide extensive Ferry and delivery flights services to leasing companies worldwide. Mills confirmed that Gainjet Ireland Ferry and Demo flights are all coordinated by his own operations team based at Shannon Airport.
