Did You Know?

The Fulacht Fia was an ancient cooking method used by hunting parties from the early Bronze Age to the Elizabethan period! 🔥

They dug a rectangular pit in low-lying ground, let it fill with water, and lined the sides with wood. Heated stones were placed in the water to boil it, and a joint of venison, wrapped in straw, was cooked right there in the wooden trough! 🍖

A simple yet ingenious way to prepare a feast outdoors!
