⚔ Live Battles
Witness the clash of warriors as they unleash their battle-hardened skills in thrilling live combat displays, happening at 12pm and 4pm daily. Young squires can join in the fun with kids' Shield Drills, where they'll learn he basics of Viking defence.

🛡Traditional Crafts
In addition to the fierce Viking Battles, these pagan warriors will be demonstrating exactly how they lived during the Viking age.

🔥Viking Cuisine
It may come as a surprise, but the Vikings were not only fierce warriors - they were passionate cooks too. Watch as meals are prepared over open fires, just as they would have been over a thousand years ago.

🎭Kid-friendly Games
The adventure isn't just for grown ups! Throughout the weekend, there'll be plenty of Viking themed games and activities to keep young raiders entertained and immersed in the world of the Norse.

Please note that our kitchen is temporarily closed as we undertake some enhancements. As a result, no food will be available for purchase on-site.

Step into Ireland’s ancient past as you explore reconstructed Iron and Bronze Age dwellings, discover the legendary ‘Brendan Boat’, walk through a crannóg and a ring fort brought to life by costumed guides, and wander along woodland paths steeped in history.

🛡 The Chieftain - Meet Stefan, our Crannog Chieftain. With skilled hands, he carves Irish myths and Ogham script into wood, keeping Gaelic culture alive. From traditional games like Skittles to rich tales of lore, Stefan ensures ancient traditions thrive.

🪘 The Drum Maker - Discover drum-making with Arno, a master of three trades. He crafts ceremonial drums from hide and wood, then brings them to life through music. Arno also creates beautiful, practical leather goods—from belts to bookmarks—for the Crannog.

🔥 The Blacksmith - Watch as the blacksmith forges tools and weapons using traditional techniques and a roaring fire.
