Not long to go now! We are very much looking forward to opening on the 29th of June!

The picturesque village of Sneem is situated on the Ring of Kerry and has a selection of shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes, Parknasilla Resort & Spa and Sneem Hotel.
Sneem offers a variety of activities, from Golfing, Cycling to Kayaking and an abundance of scenic walking areas and driving routes for all to enjoy.
If you are looking for somewhere to relax and unwind or be active then you wont be disappointed! There is something to suit everyone!

Parking is only 5euro for EHU per night @ Goosey Island Motorhome Park.

Our Kerry

A friend of mine sent me the story below and I love it so I thought I’d share it with you! As JohnB Keane once said there are only two Kingdoms - the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Kerry - one is not of this world and the other is out of this world! Enjoy this story!

An American holidaymaker visiting a church in Dublin saw a golden telephone with a sign that said "Calls €10,000".

He asked the priest what it was for and was told "It's a direct line to Heaven".

At a Cathedral in Galway he saw a similar golden phone and the same sign.

At other churches throughout the country he found golden phones and the same sign.

Then he stopped in Kerry and went into a church, and again saw a golden phone but this time the sign said "Calls 50c".

The American said to the priest " Father, I've travelled all over Ireland and I've seen this golden telephone in many churches. I'm told it's a direct line to heaven but in Dublin the price was €10,000 per call. Why is it so cheap here?".

The priest smiled and said "You're in Kerry now, my son. It's a local call." 😋
