It is with great regret that we must announce that the traditional parade for St. Patrick's Day in Sneem will not be held this year; due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The festivals committee agreed last week that whatever policy the Government sets for public events would be followed; and as other celebrations are cancelled it's been decided not to move forward here.

Apologies to all concerned.

We are pleased to announce that Sonny Egan (Champion Storyteller of Ireland 2019) will be on our Pub Trail this year. Saturday 9th November from 10.30 pm

For years, Sonny’s home was open to locals and strangers dropping in for tea and a chat and soon developed into a rambling house. Musicians and storytellers came from all parts to reinstate a traditional way of life that was once prevalent in Kerry. He was recognised, and the rambling house became a tourist attraction and has since welcomed people from Japan, America, Australia and Germany.
