The Axis Project is a creative collaboration between Amelia Caulfield, Lisa Kenny and Natalia Eardley.
Our aim is to support the professional development of each member through peer sharing opportunities, group and individual practices, and collaborative projects. Amelia Caulfield graduated from Galway Mayo Institute of Technology with a first class honours degree in Film and Documentary, where she specialised in Documentary, Cinematography, and Production Design. She received a Level 5 award in Fi
lm & Television Production from Galway Technical Institute. Lisa Kenny graduated from Galway Mayo Institute of Technology with a BA Art and Design, and a BA (Hons) Design in Textiles. She attended Grennan Mill Craft School, Thomastown for two years. She also studied Photography in West Wales School of the Arts. Natalia Caulfield has experience in Art Education studies with National College of Art and Design, Dublin. She received a Level 6 award in Art, Craft & Design (professional Practice) from Grennan Mill Craft School, Thomastown. The Axis Project specialises in coordinating exhibitions, workshops, and events.

What a fantastic morning at our first Art Class in The Scouts Den!
We did lots of vegetable printing where the children designed their own bags and we made some wonderful Easter baskets with painted eggs also.

We're ready! 🎨 Tomorrow marks an very exciting day for The Axis Project. We are holding our first Children's Art class and we are beyond excited! We have a fun filled creative morning planned for 14 eager kids. We've both been waiting a long time to do this and the time has finally come 👋💜

Lisa & Natalia have come together and are practicing their individual crafts in a beautiful studio in The Scouts Den in Thomastown.

We are so thankful to the brilliant and hardworking Thomastown Scout Group for allowing us to host Interim | new works by Amelia Caulfield and Lisa Kenny in their Den.
Community is very important to us and we are extremely humbled by their generosity. We hope this exhibition allows the public to engage more with this building, and the wonderful activities that go on here.
We have transformed the two front rooms of this old convent into exhibition spaces. These photos show some of the transformation. Just three days to go.. whoooop!
