We are now one week away from our Tractor and Motorcycle run. On Sunday 8th of October, we are holding a Tractor & Motorcycle Run in aid of the Irish Cancer Society. All moneys raised will go towards supporting and aiding two of the society’s vital services, the Night nurses and care to drive.
The night nurses come to your home and put in place the services needed to keep your loved ones there for their final days. They care for your loved ones and take you by the hand in those final hours.
Care to drive provides the service of taking people for treatment to try and beat this horrible disease that is affecting so many families. This service is vital to a lot of people especially those living alone in their battle with cancer.
We would appreciate if you could support our cause and give both these groups our much-needed support.
With that in mind the children in The junior room in Castleiney National School classes from junior infants to second class have made posters of their own to help spread the work and aid in the success of this run. We really appreciate their support of this cause.
