The new Tipperary Town Directory of Services is now available online and it is being distributed to all households in Tipperary Town and its surrounding areas. It provides information on many of the statutory, community and some business services available to Tipperary Town, some of which are outside of the town. There is information on each service, with contact phone numbers, websites and e-mails included. There is a summary at the end. See below link to digital version of the Directory along with maps:

The new Tipperary Town Directory of Services was launched in Tipperary Town recently. The initiative was led and compiled by Tipperary Town Revitalisation Team between 2023 and 2024. This project was carried out in collaboration with the SICAP Programme in Knockanrawley RC and South Tipperary Development Company, the Tipperary Local Development Committee, CYPSC Tipperary in Tipperary County Council, and EcoVision, all of whom funded the printing of this Directory of Services. The Directory is being distributed to all households in Tipperary Town and surrounding areas. Many of the statutory and non-statutory organisations, agencies and community groups in Tipperary Town and County were also involved. See the press release in the link below:

A new report on the Economic Development of Tipperary Town has been published by the University of Michigan Ross School of Business as part of their Executive MBA Programme.

A team from the University visited Tipp Town in October 2024 and met with a wide range of stakeholders including businesses, local community groups and statutory bodies.

A new Community Bus service was launched yesterday in Tipp Town

The project was funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development and Tipperary County Council under the Community Recognition Fund and the service will be operated by by An Garda Síochána Tipperary supported by Tipperary Town Revitalisation and Knockanrawley RC

The service will be available to community and not for profit groups on a book ahead basis and enquiries can be made to Tipperary Town Garda Station at a dedicated email address. Click through for full details.

The lights this year will be switched on by Munster and All Ireland Minor Champions David Ryan, Adam Ryan and Darragh O'Hora, with manager James Woodlock and coach Conor O'Brien. They will be joined by DJ Bren and a certain Mr Claus 🎅

It's the second year of the Tipperary Town Christmas Market at Night. This year we have even more amusements, hot food, coffee and treats, and local craft and food stalls.

This is a FREE event.
Thank you to all those involved especially The Tipperary Festival who organised the Christmas lights this year and to Sharon O'Dwyer, Ann Whelan, Siobhan Hyland-Ryan and Anne Hadnett who are organising the market.

Well done once again to Kieran, Kathleen and all the team at Ryans Of Tipperary who were recently named the top Cakes Brand in the Country by Checkout Magazine.
The Company received support from South Tipperary Development Company under the Rural Development Programme (LEADER) to develop a new bakery in Knockanrawley in recent years.
Recently, they started exporting to Northern Ireland and have ambitious plans to grow the business further.
