Halloween starts at the wetlands on Friday 13th !!!!!! Seasonal Scavenger Hunts (with a twist) will be available to Schools mid week from Friday 13th October. This fun, engaging outdoor Halloween & nature themed activity offers 2 different tiers Tanagrams making the outing suitable for children from Junior Infants to 6th class!
Also available to National Schools this autumn will be an opportunity to make a 'spooky dream catcher' or 'nightmare catchers' !!!!! again an most unique eco arts and crafts activity making pieces from natural materials collected on a nature walk of the grounds.

For any school who missed out on 'Climate Action for Science Week ' at Tralee Bay Wetlands, will be delighted to learn that this program is extended into November & early December 2022. This program can also be brought to your school ! check out the link below.
Climate Action for Science Week at Tralee Bay Wetlands will continue into the month of November and early December for any school group who would like to produce a plan for your school on how to increase biodiversity and monitor it. This course will also help teachers understand how to properly maintain your Biodiversity Areas so that everyone can have pride in their eco-restoration project while also bringing down your carbon footprint.
This course is ideal for all ages and is ideal for covering Litter and Waste, Energy and Biodiversity themes of the green flag. For more information;
