AGC Associates

AGC Associates Established in 1999 AGC Associates has provided a wide range of services to a variety of clients. He has also lectured in WIT.

Permanently closed.

AGC Associates was founded by Alan Crawford who has many years experience as a financial controller and finance director. This extensive experience is appropriate to the needs of start up and growing business clients. At all times AGC Associates engages with the client and seeks to understand their business. This experience and hands-on approach is a welcome change from the experience many small b

usinesses have with the large, established accounting firms, whose high fees and impersonal service have left most customers with the impression that they are better off attempting to manage themselves what is essentially one of the most important areas of their business, but not always their core competence.

Getting Things Done

Earned Attention, by Klaas Weima, is an interactive handbook for social communication in the digital age. David Allen contributed his thoughts on how to make this “digital cocktail party” work for you.
------------
There you are. Staring at your screen. Your smartphone in your hand, laptop in front of you and a pile of papers on your desk. All ‘to do’. As quickly and as accurately as possible. David Allen can help.

David Allen is well known for his simplicity. With a few simple rules you can change your behaviour and get a grip on your overloaded inbox. Allen prevents you from drowning in the flood of messages.

This interview covers the following topics:
1. How do you keep more than one million Twitter followers happy?
2. The simplicity and logic of the GTD methodology.
3. Besides practical also spiritual tips.
4. Why you should see your smartphone as a bucket.
5. In five steps from unrest to overview.

"We have entered a period of intense global financial instability.....Adding to the to the current financial chaos has been the stupendous growth of euro currency, involving currencies outside the control of individual central bankers........Euro-currency bankers have gone farthest in using short term deposits to finance long term loans to less than perfectly creditworthy borrowers......Consumer debt levels have been extended beyond anything ever seen before. As a result many more people will be affected by the depression ....People have been encouraged to live beyond their means for decades. The nature of a self feeding debt liquidation, which comes with deflation, will mean that these debts will have to be repaid. Personal bankruptcies are likely to reach terrifying proportions."

Is this a recent prediction by one of our celebrity economists?

NO. This was written by Robert Beckman in 1983 in his book "The Downwave - Surviving the great depression"

He thought it was going to happen in the 80's. It took a little longer but he was right in the end.

If only more people had listened to him!
