Sunday 28th July 2024 Update

We have decided that due to the Galway playing in the All Ireland Football final there will be a few changes to service.

As a number of fans won't have tickets there are screens being showed in Eyre Square and Pearse Stadium. We will run Saturday services until 14:30 on all services.

There will be no service until 30 minutes after full time.

Should Galway win the Final We be operating sunday service on Monday 29th of July excluding our races services.

This is to allow our staff to watch the match

All services departing Galway Cathedral
44 Headford to Galway
45 Moylough to Galway
46 corofin to Galway
764 Westport/Castlebar - Galway
Will terminate in Woodquay which is a two minute walk from Galway Cathedral.

All services departing Galway Coach station & Merchants Road will operate as normal with slight diversions where necessary.

Service update on Route 45 Mountbellew - Moylough - Galway

There may be delays to services inbound and outbound starting February 19th until early 2025 due to roadworks on the parkmore/Monivea road Junction.
Please bear in mind that these possible delays are out of our control and we ask passengers to allow extra time to their journeys.

Dear Customers, We will continue to operate as normal for the time being. We will evaluate the situation between 16:00 and 21:00 as it is getting very windy already.

47 Spiddal to Galway will be canceled at 16:00 due to the risk of flooding in Furbo and Spiddal.

Spanish Arch, Salthill and The Coast Road Oranmore will not be served by any Buses due to the roads being closed.
All services departing from Merchants Road will now depart from the Back of the Train Station/Hardiman Hotel.

Route Diversions
406 Barna - Oramore will operate via NUIG, Westside and normal route from Knocknacarra.

Athenry Connect AT2 Oranmore - Galway will not operate via Coast Road or Roscam.

Christmas Timetable 2023

Christmas is almost upon us and we are delighted to announce additional services over the Christmas period on a select number of routes

40 Claregalway - Galway will operate every 30 minutes as normal
41 Athlone - Ballinasloe - Loughrea - Galway will operate every 30 minutes
41A Loughrea - Galway will operate hourly
43 Headford - Galway every hour
44 Gort - Galway new additional Morning services at 06:30 and late services at 01:00 Galway to Gort
45 Moylough - Galway will not operate
46 Corofin - Galway every 90 minutes
47 Spiddal - Galway every hour with 4 additional services each way extended to Inverin 09:00/13:00/16:00/23:00
49 Mountbellew - Galway every 90 minutes. This service will operate instead of route 45

All other services will operate to the usual timetable.
December 23/27/28/29/and 30 will all operate as Saturday service
24th,26,31 will all operate Sunday service.
Last service 24th and 31st 21:00
No service 25th December & 1st January
Normal service resumes Tuesday 2nd of January

Dear customers, Due to a breakdown earlier the 14:00 Bearna to parkmore and it's return services will be operated by a non wheelchair accessible coach.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused but to get the service moving on time we had to use an unaccessible coach.

Customer Announcement
We are Delighted to announce from Monday 8th January 2024 we will begin operating a new Ballina - Longford - Dublin Direct Service operating 7 days a week.

Timetables and fares will be announced in the coming future.

Service Update 17 November 2023,
Traffic is very heavy this afternoon around Galway City especially Eyre Sqaure and college Road and delays are expected throughout the evening.

Please allow additional time to your journey due to these delays.

We will continue to monitor delays to our services and additional coaches may be placed on if needed.

Please note the following changes which will take place from tommorrow 13th October 2023

ROUTE 40 Lackagh/Claregalway - Galway
New services to Parkmore/Ballybrit and Murvue for workers will operate Monday to Friday departing at 06:00/06:20&06:30.
Evening service will operate at 15:00/15:50&16:20

Route 41Ballinasloe-Loughrea-Galway commuter
Additional morning services to Parkmore/Ballybrit and mervue will operate Monday to Friday departing 05:30/05:50&06:20
These services will only operate between Ballinasloe/Loughrea and Craughwell.

Route 43 Gort to Galway
One additional service daily departing Gort at 05:40 and two additional evening services departing Galway at 16:20 and 17:40.

Route 47 Inverin/Spiddal - Galway
An additional 06:30 service Monday to Friday departing from Inverin and an additional 08:00 Saturday and Sunday.
Two additional services to Inverin departing Galway at 20:00 and 22:00

We are delighted to announce we have been chosen as the preferred operator for a new cross city service between Bearna and Parkmore especially for workers.

Starting on Monday the 16th of October we will be operating a Monday to Friday service. Services will operate Monday to Friday between 05:00 and 23:59.

Timetables will be announced in the next week before services commence.
