A must for your trip is to drive the Maud Gonne to Fisherstown (about a 3 hour trip) and moor for the night. About a 10 min stroll down country lanes brings you to the famous Fisherman's Inn. A beautiful traditional thatched pub. Sean the owner is a gentleman and will look after you so well, make sure you tell him Siobhan sent you 😉
If the weather is good, sit out in the gorgeous beer garden, if the weather is not so good snuggle up inside the pub and take in the most eclectic array of wall decorations, it's like a treasure trove. If you dont feel like cooking, order pizza and some delicious Pints of Guinness 😋
Dogs and kids welcome too of course. 😆
