**Missing from Co Kerry**
Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 56-year-old Michael Gaine who was reported missing from his home near Kenmare, Co. Kerry on Friday 21st March 2025.

Michael, who also goes by Mike, was last seen in Kenmare town at approximately 11:00am on Thursday 20th March.

Michael is described as being approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall with a stocky build, brown/grey hair and a bushy beard.

When last seen, Michael was wearing an orange woolly hat, black fleece, blue jeans and black boots.

Gardaí and Michael's family are concerned for his well-being.

Anyone with information on Michael's whereabouts is asked to contact Killarney Garda Station on 064 667 1160, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.

British tourists do not need an International Driving Permit (IDP) to drive in Spain while on vacation because the UK driving licence is still valid for short stays. Here’s why:

📌 1. Post-Brexit Agreements 🤝
Although the UK left the EU, Spain and other European countries have agreed to continue recognising UK driving licences without the need for an IDP for tourists.

📌 2. Rules for Tourists (Short Stays) 🚗✈️
If a British citizen visits Spain for tourism, they can drive freely using their UK licence without any additional documents or translations.

📌 3. IDP Only Needed for Residents 🏡📜
