Tacen, Slovenia getting ready for the European Canoe Slalom Championships this weekend. Ireland will have 7 Athletes competing, including Noel. This course has been completely rebuilt after major storm and flooding damage in August 2023 destroyed the entire facility.

Thank You to All the Paddlers and Volunteers who supported our Canoe Slalom Race today. The first Slalom race after extensive improvements to the Club’s Canoe Slalom course. It was great to share the day with so many visiting club members from
Limerick KCC, Monasterevin BKC, Mullingar HCP, Kilcullen CC and Edenderry CC.

Thank You to All the Paddlers 🛶and Volunteers 👏👏 who supported our Canoe Slalom race today. The weather wasn't so kind but it was still a very competitive and great day. We'll arrange the awards in the near future .... on a kinder day 🤞

☘️A proud moment for Ribbontail Paddlers Canoe Club, Robert and Noel who produced memorable performances at the 2023 Canoe Slalom World Championships to qualify Ireland 🇮🇪 in their respective MC1 and MK1 Canoe Slalom classes for the Olympic Games, Paris 2024. Two Boys who learned to paddle on our beautiful Royal Canal💙. Twin brothers, they didn't want to be separated at the World Championships🙂, they both achieved 16th place in their individual events in extremely competitive fields of world class Canoe Slalom athletes. Truly Memorable🛶☘️

Join us for the 1st Castleconnell Canoe Slalom race! Div 2 slalom and open classes/ plastic boats, Junior and senior categories. If you haven't tried slalom before come along and have a go! Race is suitable for paddlers of all ages with some moving water experience.
Entries: To enter you must hold current Canoeing Ireland membership. Email your name and date of birth to [email protected]
Entry €5 juniors, €10 seniors payable at registration. Registration 10.00am, Race briefing 11am, Races start 11:15am.

Welcome to our Canoe Slalom & Extreme Slalom race!

We are hosting a race on the Royal Canal in Longwood, Co. Meath. This race is open to the following:
- New kayakers who are looking for some adventure and challenge💪
Competent paddlers who are looking to improve their paddling and have some craic🎉
- Paddlers who are eager for some friendly competition and are looking to push their paddling to the next level!🚣
- Competitive paddlers who are interested in experiencing a racing environment that is both challenging and fun!🥇🥈🥉

Noel Hendrick blasts his way to a top 20 finish at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships in Augsburg, Germany today 🚀🚀 The Ribbontail man showed impressive pace throughout the tricky semi-final course picking up only one 2 second penalty. Nonetheless, he finished in style and within the top 20 boats in the world today showing that hard work does indeed pay off 💪🏼💪🏼

With the support of the Sports Capital Programme and the National Lottery, Ribbontail CC is all set for the 2nd Canoe Slalom race of the 2022 championship, tomorrow 22nd May. Looking forward to a great day. Registration 10am to 11am. Sunshine is arranged as always......
