Sheep over Lough Tay in the Wicklow Mountains National Park in Ireland. The Wicklow Mountains are a place of great natural beauty and very worthwhile visiting. The are located just south of Dublin. Our motorcycle rental station is located just south of the Wicklow Mountains, so this is our "home turf" - very nice motorbiking arounf here!

This is the latest addition to our motorcycle rental pool - we bought four of these for 2023. The Honda CMX500 Rebel is extremely nimble, lightweight and easy to ride. It corners very nicely for a cruiser and is really fun to ride. With it`s very low seat height of only 690mm it is very accessible for shorter riders and you can ride it with the european A2 license as well. You may want to check it out!

Das ist unser Neuzugang - einer von vieren um genau zu sein. Mit der Honda Rebel CMX500 haben wir jetzt ein extrem handliches Motorrad in unserem Vermietpool. Mit wenig Gewicht, niedriger Sitzhöhe und einfacher Fahrbarkeit bietet sie sich für alle an, deinen die Reiseenduros zu schwer oder zu hoch sind. Außerdem genügt der A2-Führerschein. Macht sie trotzdem Spass? Mega!!!!

You will find celtic crosses all over Ireland. In this case in Glendalough, a monastic city from early medieval times. The monastery is beautifully located in a valley with two lakes, surrounded by steep mountains. The name "Glen-da-lough" derives from the old gaelic language (Irish) and means Valley (Glen) of the two (da) lakes (lough). Makes sense, doesn`t it? 🤓

Great evening for a swim at Salthill Promenade in Galway...

Just dropped my luggage at the hotel, peeled myself out of the motorcycle suit and enjoyed the beautiful scenery at the beachfront just outside of the Hotel. What a wonderful closing to a fantastic motorcycle day at the Irish Westcoast.

Lost in the Hills.... Ireland is a place of great natural beauty. Some hilly parts look a bit like the Highlands of Scotland. Round-capped hills with moors and heathers. This is called "bog", a higher altitude moor that nurtures from rain water, which gets trapped between the rocks.

Why does this matter to motorcycle travelers? You find many small and smallest roads leading through and over the bog - and the landscapes are stunning!
