Anglers we have been asked to provide dates for the festivals this New Year 2025 . Can I please ask all of you to support us as best you can with the dates given.Last year the dates did not suit a good many of you and we changed them to accommodate anglers and still it seemed those new dates for the festival did not suit a good handful of the boys . it is Very difficult to suit everybody but hopefully these dates for Easter Summer and Autumn will work for you all this year .The dates will not be changed under any circumstances. We have a great following of anglers with a lot of new match anglers , great atmosphere good fishing and it’s good to welcome you all each week knowing you are all enjoying the matches we offer and more to come as long as there are the numbers to compete .We are very happy to offer
additional match days throughout the New Year if you would like them and of course the usual Saturday Club Match each week .Indeed we are not forgetting our very regular pleasure Anglers who are supportive throughout the year and look forward to seeing you all in the very near future

TODAYS OPEN MATCH RESULTS SUNDAY 12 th JANUARY.
Having made the decision to go ahead with the match we were regretting it at five o clock this morning as we had a frost and that was not forecast . However with the areators and the tremendous help from everyone especially Donny Vaidas and Mantas , we were able to carry on with the draw . Now expectations were obviously 🙄 not good but everyone had a few fish with nigella landing a ten pound plus fish on the pole . So alls well that ends well and everyone enjoyed themselves. so here’s looking forward to next week when the temperature 🤒 goes back to normal. Anyhow safe journeys home 🏠 and take care out there .

OPEN MATCH RESULTS SUNDAY 6th JANUARY.
For the the first match of the year we had the worst conditions we can ever remember! The car park was like a skating rink !Although we didn’t have any snow we had freezing rain ☔️A great turnout again today and we were delighted to welcome you all 😀
I think we all expected it to fish badly but Tooman surprised us again at this time of year it wasn’t too bad 👌
Willie is on a roll and completed the double today with a brilliant weight off peg 79. top class Willie
