- Go and see some live music somewhere - lots of pubs in Westport have live music during the week and at weekends! (top tip: @mattmolloyspub has live music every single day)
- Get out on one of the beautiful beaches near Westport - for surfing go to Carrownisky, if visiting with kids go to Old Head, for a long walk go to Bertra 🌊 there are plenty of stunning beaches to choose from in the surrounding area, so let us know what’s your favourite in the comments 🙌

The Brackloon Wood trailhead is about 6 km (3.7 miles) south of Westport on the Leenane Road (N59). It is a 4km (2.5 mile) walk and a section of it is part of the Croagh Patrick Heritage Trail.
Brackloon is one of the last remaining Atlantic oak woods left in Ireland and it is a spectacular place to connect with nature! 🌳

There is a beautiful walk/train on Bertra Beach, it’s about 2-3km to Rabbit Island and it’s enjoyed by all the locals.
