Our Story
This summer due to the Covid pandemic we are renting the house out as a holiday home / vacation rental. We can sleep up to 11 people. Contact us directly for best rates.
There are 2 en-suites rooms, 2 double rooms with private bathrooms beside the rooms. We can accommodate up to 11 people in total, please send a request for more information on booking other rooms at Rise&Shine.
The upstairs rooms are dormer style with beautifully wooden finish. There is also a downstairs en suite with family King sized bed. The King beds are Respa (Irish hand made mattress) back-care supreme. The rooms are kitted with towels and face cloths. We have dispensers in the bathroom for Scandinavian White Eco, a natural organic range of soaps, shampoos and conditioners. The rooms are also equipped with lamps for reading, fresh filtered drinking water. iPad speakers for playing tunes or movies. All our rooms have Kangan ionised drinking water for our guests. The living room where you can relax in the evening and dine in the morning is a large window framed open space. There are also comfortable chairs and a sofa. The room has a beautiful view of Crough Patrick mountain.
We also have a book exchange for our guests!!!
Our guests are very welcome to sit in the living room, or outside in front of the house, where there are chairs and a table, weather permitting!There is a reception area with space to store luggage and also seating.
Interaction with Guests
We are two hosts from Westport. We would be delighted to give advice and recommendations on things to do, restaurants, nightlife ... All your Westport needs! We speak English and Spanish also.
Deerpark East, Newport Rd is a wonderful friendly and quiet neighborhood. The best thing about here is location, location, location!!!! maximum of 10 minutes walking or 3 minutes in your car to the center! It's extremely safe to walk too and fro, just be aware the Newport rd is a slight hill of about 250 meters!!!! You will be very happy at the pride the neighbors take in keeping the surroundings clean and in growing beautiful gardens. It is a perfect private area hidden by trees in the town of Westport.
We have car parking facilities right in front of the house. We will be happy to arrange taxi service for you during your stay. You can bike all the way up town or all the way to Achill Island via the green way. Walking is perfectly acceptable also.
We serve a homemade breakfast of fruits, freshly squeezed juices, homemade breads, granola, yogurt and local cheese and jam produce at an extra cost.
We cater to Vegetarians and Vegans, Dairy free and gluten intolerant guests. We have free WiFi throughout the house. The soaps and shampoos in the guest rooms are natural and organic. We have speakers for iPad etc in all of the guest rooms. There is fresh filtered water supplied daily. The beds and linens are very comfortable. Comfort is our motto! We only offer what we can deliver 100%.
