The Samuel Beckett Bridge in Dublin was designed by renowned Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and opened to the public in 2009. Named after renowned Irish writer Samuel Beckett, winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1969, the bridge is designed to evoke the image of a harp, Ireland's national symbol.

Nestled in the Comeragh Mountains in County Waterford, the 80-metre high Mahon Falls provide the setting for a wonderfully tranquil, off the beaten track Irish excursion. On the way to the falls, you can even experience one of Ireland's 'Magic Roads' where cars appear to roll uphill! You can decide for yourself if it's an optical illusion, or are there mischievous fairies at work?
