Some useful tips for this week 🥶❄️

It’s another cold start in Wexford, and this is a good opportunity to consider how you’ll use the road network today.

• Make sure your car is defrosted before driving, ensuring you have maximum visibility of the road. 🛣️
• If you have to have your car running to defrost, do not leave your car unattended while unlocked. No one needs their car stolen. 🔐
• Slow down when driving and increase the distance from the vehicle in front. This could save you from an avoidable collision. 💥
• Starting off in a higher gear can help to avoid wheel spin. 🛞
• Use dipped headlights at all times and front & rear fog lights, if fitted and if necessary to do so. ☁️
• Remember to switch off fog lights when visibility improves. 🚘
• Be especially aware of pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists, particularly at junctions. 🏍️ 🚲 🚶
• Be aware of what’s happening in front of the vehicle in front of you if possible. The extra second of decision-making could be the difference to avoid a collision. 👀
• If you have to stop, activate your hazard warning lights.‼️

While the majority of roads could be absolutely fine, some roads could be subject to black ice or other factors which could lead to decreased tyre grip. If there are particularly dodgy spots to be careful on, tell other road users in the comments!

Family theme park holiday in Dubai!
We visited these theme parks a few years ago, and it is much quieter than Disney and Universal = less time queueing!
