High Court to rule Tuesday on management of Tel Shiloh archaeological sit

Yesh Din is the legal arm of the left wing extremist group, Peace Now.
They attempted to transfer the management of the historical, archeological and Biblical site, Tell Shiloh, to the Civil Authority.
The High Court ruled against Yesh Din.

Emek Shaveh is demanding that the site of Tel Shiloh, where archaeologists believe a stone foundation for the Ark of the Covenant is located, be managed by the Civil Administration.

I was honored to host Alan Keyes and his entourage for a very moving visit to Jacob's Rock in Beit El.

This month we had visited by women from Agudath Israel America.
And that's the email I got from their guide
"Shalom! The trip to Bet El with the ladies from Agudat Israel of America was a very big success. About one fourth of the ladies had never visited the area of the Shomron before. These are women who support Israel and visit at least once a year. I hope it will be the beginning of many more trips for them in the area. We had altogether three busses with about 120 women. I want to thank you again for your time you spent with me , I appreciated it very much."

*Special Visit to Beit El*
This week, a special contingent from our Sister City came to visit Beit El. Our sister city is The Shoals in Alabama, which is comprised of 4 towns, and includes the village of New Bethel.
The Sister City delegation, including Mona Allen and Debra Barnes, was hosted by the Kroopnik family. The group visited the Girls School, and observed the 4th grade English class. They distributed adorable gifts from the children of Alabama to the children of Beit El.
The delegation visited the Beit El Winery, where Hillel Manne treated them to a walking tour of the vineyards. Afterwards they met with Shira Livman, the administrative head of Beit El, for a heartfelt discussion, which strengthened the bond between our two cities.
Mona and Debra brought gifts from their mayor to our mayor, Shai Alon, and our municipality also presented gifts to the lafies of the delegation.
"I am very pleased with our Sister City connection," adds Mayor Shai Alon. "In the new visitors center which we are planning, we will dedicate a section honoring this bond. With G-D's help, we should continue to serve as a Light Unto the Nations, to strengthen our connection with the USA, and to sanctify G-D's name."

Lawernce philanthropists donate new ambulance to Beit El

Beit El has been blessed with a new ambulance, donated by Marty and Riva Oliner.
"We should never need to use it, but we are very grateful."

'We certainly are a nation with tremendous innovation, a start-up nation; but that really isn't the most important part of who we are.'
