Our first Solidarity Mission to Israel came to a close. The group has embarked on this meaningful trip to Israel as an opportunity to stand together during this most crucial moment in time. It has been an eye-opening journey filled with emotions, tears, hugs, strength and hope.

We wanted to share some of our most powerful moments with you all:

We met with a former Director of the Mossad, for an introductory discussing covering the current geo-political situation on the Gaza and Lebanon fronts.

We were guided by a resident of Netiv Ha'asara village near Gaza who led us through the devastating events of October 7th from his personal perceptive.

We also witnessed the incredible resilience of the people living in the town of Sderot and supported local industry and entrepreneurs.

We had a chance to meet one of the hostages’ family and to hear what him and his family went through on the 7th of October and the efforts still made today to bring back his sister and 133 other hostages from captivity.

We visited wounded IDF soldiers in the Lowenstein Hospital Rehabilitation center. Hearing their stories and sensing their strength had touched all of our hearts in ways that no one can imagine.

We couldn’t forget the northern part of Israel. Not only did we get an insider's view on what's happening across the border from an expert from the Israel-Alma center, we also took part in an active eye-opening simulation, understanding the complexity of the current situation there.

The days were also filled with an emotional conversation with brave reservists and their supporting wives; cooking for our incredible IDF Soldiers with Chef Vered (IG: vered_feren_haifa_chef) AND hosting a BBQ lunch for them in collaboration with our dear friends at the Carlton Tel Aviv hotel, and many more!

These moments have shown us the importance of unity and the power of Solidarity. Some of the group members reflected on their journey:

Thank you The David Kempinski Tel Aviv hotel - we're so thrilled !

This gorgeous hotel donated no less than 10,000 (!) trees in a new grove planted near Kibbutz Be'eri, which suffered dozens of casualties, kidnapped hostages and destruction more than any other place on the horrific 10/7 events.
We Israelis plant trees as a symbol for reviving and emerging stronger - Am Yisrael Chai !
Our friends at the hotel dedicated 400 of those trees to us at Israel My Way, and we can't be more proud and thankful.

One of the most charming little hidden gems in beautiful Israel is this place, named after John the Baptist, who was born and raised in the nearby village of Ein Karem.

This is the Catholic "Monastery of Saint John in the Wilderness".

About last night....

Our team travelled to Jerusalem yesterday to inspect a few hotels, and met several vendors and hoteliers, who are all close friends of us at Israel My Way. Challenging times in Israel now, but the local travel industry is resilient, strong and optimistic, and we are all determined to emerge stronger from this crisis.

One of the highlights was the yummy winter 'Soup Festival' at the Inbal Jerusalem Hotel - OMG it was delicious....;-)

There's no better way to begin your day then getting such feedback from clients who just finished their tour in Israel with us:

"The trip was really fabulous. From the tour guides (they were great!). To the actual coordination of the tours (with a terrific mix of interesting and fun). To the food (which was unbelievable, like beyond). And the accommodations (both hotels were fab). It was all just so great. We couldn’t have asked for a better family experience. It was so amazing to be back in Israel, truly magical for us and for Hudson to experience it for the first time. And the bonus was being with Jackson who has fully embraced the lifestyle there!

Thank you for helping us so last minute. We are forever grateful. 🙏

All in all a special special time. Israel is magical. So complicated. Beautiful and wild.

Israel's incoming tourism is back big-time, and we are expanding our dedicated team.
A boutique, dynamic, creative incoming tour company is looking to hire excellent people for both *Tour Designer* as well as *Operator* positions to join our team.

Our company – Israel My Way (www.israelmyway.co.il) – specializes in planning and executing tailor-made tours in Israel for individuals and groups, mostly for high-end clientele from North America.
Our Tour Designers are often the first and foremost contacts our clients have with the company. The designer will need to understand the clients’ needs and nuances, design a unique and creative itinerary, price the program, and finally close the deal with the client before transferring it to our Operations Department for ex*****on.

The Operator is responsible of supervising each tour from A to Z, by executing the plan prepared by the Tour Designer, and to communicate with the clients, the Travel Advisors, and the suppliers.

Both jobs are full-time, and are carried out in our office in Haifa (Check-Post industrial zone) with flexible hours.

Candidates requirements (for both positions):

a) A strong passion for Israel, with a large knowledge base about the country – geography, history, religions, sites, etc.,
b) Excellent interpersonal communications skills by oral, written, or face-to-face communication, especially with North American clients
c) Serious work ethic which includes being responsible, reliable, assertive & enthusiastic, detailed oriented, multi-tasking and efficient.
d) Budget management skills
e) Previous experience in tourism – an advantage, though not mandatory
f) Candidate must speak English VERY fluently, preferably at native or near-native level; additional languages – an advantage.
