‘Rosh Hashanah', the Jewish New Year starts tomorrow evening at sundown.

Families will be gathering for the traditional Rosh Hashana dinner, and will be repeating once again the very same words that the Jewish People have been reciting every year, for the last 2000 years : ‘Le'Shanah Habaa Be'Yerushalaim' ( Next Year In Jerusalem ), symbolizing their prayers, dreams and hopes to return to their homeland, the Land of Israel, and their capital Jerusalem. We are a blessed generation that in our lifetime those dreams have come true. We came back home.

As in every Jewish holiday, we shall enjoy good food, eat a lot and gain extra calories. Apples dipped in honey will be a traditional part of the dinner, symbolizing our hopes for a sweet new year, and often also ‘fish heads’ ( but no worries you can pass on this one ! ) symbolizing the head of the new year.
Let me remind all my friends who’ll be celebrating, that at least one cup of wine is to be drunk during the Rosh Hashana dinner !

It is believed to be the day that the names of the righteous are inscribed in the ‘book of life’. These are times of reflection, repentance and soul searching, which are especially essential today !
Wish you all a Sweet New Year filled with health, peace, love and happiness.

My dear friends from all over the world:
Announcement!
🥁🥁🥁🥁
After nearly 2 year in which I didn’t guide tourists in a group, here I am back on the roads.
The roads of my beautiful country.

Sites are still quite empty and it seems like the old stones in some of the ancient sites, which have seen so many eras and been through so many crisis, start to understand it is over.
They’ve been waiting for humans to touch them, pray by them, take pictures, speak in so many languages… and here they are, back again.
I’m leading this group in the fresh air of Israel, everything is green around us, fresh and clean.

I waited. I waited for almost two years for tourists to come back. To speak in English to groups from afar and lead them through their journey, to tell them their story of the land of Israel.

I told you all along… the BEST is yet to come.
It’s still early to write more of my thoughts and I hope this post is not to early to be written.

I wish us all a great tourism season in Israel and around the globe.

Don’t forget the lessons the pandemic taught us.
What did it teach you?
I will share my lessons later on … be sure.

Getting ready for Christmas … English below.

אז תיירים לא יכנסו לכאן בתקופה הקרובה ויתכן ויפספסו את חג הקריסמס וחגיגות השנה האזרחית החדשה, בישראל.
כך רצה הגורל ואם זה מה יש, אז עם זה ננצח!

סיור חיפאי באווירת קריסמס לנוער מקיבוץ ראש הנקרה.
אחרי חג החנוכה שהביא עמו אור גדול, מנצנצת עכשיו חיפה באורות חג הקריסמס וניחוח חורפי משגע.

מוזמנים ליצור איתי קשר, להתארגן בקבוצות; משפחה, חברים, קולגות לעבודה… בואו. חיפה תמיד יפה, עכשיו במיוחד!

Christmas will be celebrated soon all over the world.
Tourists are not allowed in Israel for now…
Israelis are traveling in the streets of my beautiful home town of Haifa;
We visited the German colony, Wadi Nisnas, St. Joseph Latin Church and the Elijah Greek Catholic Church.
After the lights of Hanukkah candles, the city now sparkles with the lights of Christmas .
May we know only light!
