Between the years 1930-1940
Despite the challenges of the 1936–1939 unrest, KKL-JNF persevered, continuing its afforestation efforts and supporting the establishment of "Tower and Stockade" communities. During this decade, KKL-JNF also confronted the restrictive "White Paper" decrees, which banned land sales to Jews in most parts of the country. Against all odds, the organization secured vital land in the Negev and Jerusalem Mountains, ensuring a foothold for the future of Israel.

Between the years 1920-1930
During this decade, KKL-JNF celebrated 25 years of existence. Under the leadership of Menachem Ussishkin, the organization's headquarters moved to Jerusalem, and activities expanded significantly in land acquisition, afforestation, and settlement.
Additionally, the Teachers' Movement for KKL-JNF was founded and began operating in schools, fostering a connection to the land and Zionist values among students.

Tonight, we light the first candle of Hanukkah.
Hanukkah is a celebration of heroism and light—a beacon that guides us even through the darkest times.

The historic poster below reminds us of the bravery of the Hasmoneans, who fought for their freedom, just as the heroes of our time continue to defend our country in the Iron Sword War.

As we kindle the Hanukkah candles, let us take a moment to honor the heroes of the past and present.
We pray for the speedy return of all the kidnapped and for their families to be reunited soon.

Wishing everyone a bright and joyous Hanukkah! 🌟🕎

Among the trees that contribute to the growth of the bee population are jujube, almond, and judas as well as shrubs such as laurestine, sage, and chaste.

Tree Planting Ceremony with Paraguayan President in Jerusalem 🇮🇱🇵🇾

This afternoon, we had the honor of hosting President Santiago Peña Falcón of Paraguay for a tree planting ceremony at the Grove of Nations in Jerusalem. 🌱

The event symbolized hope, friendship, and the strengthening ties between Israel and Paraguay, celebrating the opening of Paraguay’s embassy in Jerusalem.

President Peña, joined by KKL-JNF Co-Chairman Yitzhak Vaknin and a distinguished Paraguayan delegation, shared inspiring words about the bonds of friendship and shared values between our nations:
“May this tree grow strong and live long, a living symbol of the shared history between our countries, the bonds of friendship we have forged, and our mutual commitment to the values we hold dear.”

We are proud to continue fostering these deep connections and mutual cooperation for a brighter future! 💙
