Today, on Israeli Independence Day, and for the past 7 months, and for the past 76 years, there are many people around the world who question the right of Jews to have political sovereignty in our ancestral homeland.

My latest article was written about Queen Helena, a monarch who converted to Judaism in the first century at a time when 3 million Jews lived in Judea (a.k.a. Land of the Jews, a.k.a. the Holy Land, a.k.a. Israel) and a magnificent Jewish Temple stood on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem (where the Dome of the Rock stands today).

Jewish history in Israel didnโ€™t start in 1948, nor in 1917, nor in 1882. It began 3,800 years ago, from Abraham to the 21st century, with a continuous Jewish presence in the land throughout that entire span of time.

Wishing Israel, the Jewish People, and all our supporters around the world a Happy Independence Day!!!
Am Yisrael Chai!!!

Just published my seventh article for Aish in my ongoing Jewish history series. This one deals with more modern history, in particular the N***s who fled to South America after the war. The article focuses on Josef Mengele, the so-called "doctor" who conducted fatal medical experiments on Jewish inmates before sending them to the gas chambers.

For those who are questioning our right to exist as a sovereign Jewish state, let this be a reminder of what life was like for Jews before the State of Israel and why we cannot be a stateless people ever again!

What happened to the notorious war criminal?

I've just published my 6th article through Aish.com! :)

While previous publications focused on Biblical and ancient periods of Jewish history, this is the first one that is closer to the modern era - 1492. That year sticks out in most people's minds as the timeframe when Christopher Columbus discovered America, but it's also equally important in Jewish history as the year the Jews were expelled from Spain. In fact, the two events are very much correlated. Find out why in my article below.

https://aish.com/the-jews-who-sailed-with-christopher-columbus/

Fleeing the Spanish Inquisition, some Jews took their chances and set sail into the unknown with Columbus.

Yehuda Becher, 24 years old, was one of the 364 people killed at the SuperNova Music Festival in southern Israel near the Gaza border amongst the 1,200 Israeli civilians murdered on that day, Oct. 7, 2023.

Born into an Ultra-Orthodox family, Yehuda went on his own path, but kept the love of Hashem (G-d) in his heart until the last day of his life. After his passing, several selfie videos were found on his phone, some of which have been compiled into the video below. The famous one where he is singing in the car the prayer "Elokai Neshama" (which has gone viral in Israel) is one of the first blessings Jews traditionally recite in the morning after waking up. He sang it truly from the depth of his soul and recorded it 3 days before his untimely death.

This was a special soul who thanked G-d lovingly and passionately every single day for every blessing he had in his life, the ability to walk, to talk, to see, to breathe, to have another day in this world.

In honor of Yehuda, let's take a couple of minutes everyday to thank G-d for the blessings we have in our lives!

If youโ€™ve ever been to Israel before, youโ€™ve surely visited some of the classic sites like the Western Wall, Masada, Caesarea, the Tower of David, and the Tomb of the Patriarchs. If you had a good tour guide, you would know what all these sites have in commonโ€ฆThey were all built by one man, King Herod the Great!

But who was this man and what made him so great? How did he end up as king of Judea? Was he Jewish or Roman? Rogue or Righteous? Find out in my latest article just published on Aish:

How controversial leader became king of the Jews and built a massive empire.

There are only 15 million Jews in the world today. We are a small fragment that has survived 2000 years of massacres and assimilation. The generational destruction of life along with conversion to other religions has kept our numbers small. Yet, we are only descendants of three Israelite tribes (Judah, Benjamin, and Levi).

What happened to the other TEN LOST TRIBES who represent the majority of the Jewish people? Where are they today?

Find out in my new article:

It will include both articles and videos on the above topics to spread light, knowledge, and awareness on Israel and the Jewish People to the whole wide world, to the best of my ability.

What an upside down world we live in! Shocking!! Shame on South Africa!!

On October 7, the Hamas terrorist army and its affiliated militias invaded southern Israel in a surprise attack with orders to kill every single Jew in sight. The process of murdering 1200 innocent Israeli civilians on that day included launching RPGs and massive machine gun fire into crowds of unarmed civilians attending a music festival. It included breaking into homes and murdering entire families with guns, axes, and knives. It included horrific acts of sexual violence, mutilation, and r**e. It included burning children alive and beheading babies. It included burning down houses and entire communities in fire and blood. As the day progressed, more and more waves of terrorists rolled into southern Israel expanding the murderous activities into 22 Jewish towns and villages with the goal of advancing further and further into Israel. If not for the Israeli military's counteroffensive, Hamas and its evil followers would have continued killing, ra**ng, and burning Jews all over the country. If that isn't genocide, I don't know what is!!

Yet, instead of condemning the genocide AGAINST Israel, South Africa comes out of the blue and decides Israel (the victim) is guilty of genocide, not the terrorists who ACTUALLY committed genocide. What an irony!

Israel has spent the past 3 months, fighting, losing young soldiers every single day, to destroy this N**i style hateful enemy and erase it from the face of the Earth. In doing so, it's quite obvious that some civilians will be killed in collateral damage. There has never been a war in the history of mankind that avoided civilian casualties. Israel does a better job than most countries in the world in avoiding civilian casualties, but to argue that the death of civilians was intentional by Israel or is part of some larger campaign to drive out the people of Gaza is total lunacy! Instead of blaming the culprit, South Africa blames the victim!!

Who took the government of Sudan to the Hague when 400,000 people were murdered in Darfur and 3 million people chased out of their homes? Who took Bashar Al-Assad to the Hague when over 600,000 Syrian civilians were murdered by their own government displacing some 13 million people? But here we have 23,000 dead Palestinians according to the Hamas controlled Gazan Health Ministry. Assuming those numbers are accurate (and they probably aren't), at least 10,000 of them are TERRORISTS, actual fighters who died trying to kill Israeli soldiers and Jewish civilians. If Israel has a 50% rate of civilian casualties, that's far below most countries where civilian casualties are more at 90% (you can verify these stats). In any case, Israel is not the one who is committing genocide. It is Hamas!!

Shame on South Africa! The only reason it's targeting Israel is because we're Jewish. It has nothing to do with the facts.

Expose anti-semitism wherever you find it. Only the truth will set us free!

Hey everybody! Hope you're all enjoying a fantastic holiday season. Just wanted to let you all know that I've now published a second article through Aish HaTorah.
This one is entitled: The Search for King David's Tomb

https://aish.com/the-search-for-king-davids-tomb/

Publishing articles about Israel and Jewish history is a dream come true, thank you Hashem!

Sometimes in life, we get bogged down in the day to day routine and maintenance of our daily affairs and lose sight of larger goals and the bigger picture. Chanukah, however, is a time to get out of the darkness and reveal that inner light, which we all have.

If you have an idea, project, or business you want to get off the ground, don't waste years thinking about it (guilty). There's only one way to make it happen. In the words of Tony Robbins, "the path to success is to take massive determined action!"

No matter how much we procrastinate and postpone, it's all about getting back on target to our mission on Earth, the purpose for which we were created.

Sending you all blessings of light, love, clarity, and peace.

Happy Chanukah, Am Yisrael Chai, and Mashiach Now!

Chag Sameyach and Happy Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles)! One of the three pilgrimage festivals when Jews from all over the Land of Israel and all over the world travelled to Jerusalem.

Archaeologists have unearthed the ancient pilgrims road that brought ancient Jews from the pool of Siloam in the City of David up to the Temple Mount. Today this road is underground but is open to the public.

Are you up for entering Jerusalem through a 2000 year old tunnel? Give me a call and let's make it happen! ๐Ÿ˜€

Masada is the third most visited site in Israel and usually a must see on virtually every Israel tour itinerary. For those of you who remember visiting Masada in the 20th century, getting to the top of the mountain required a 45 minute hike. Since 1998, however, there is a cable car that takes people to the top and in only 3 minutes!

Like other archaeological sites, you're visiting ruins and the remains of ancient buildings, but with a qualified tour guide, the story of Masada comes to life! The story cannot be found in the Bible or Talmud but only in the writings of first century Jewish historian Josephus Flavius, who was alive during the Roman siege of this fortified city.

Masada is an important site to visit, not just because of ancient buildings that give us a glimmer of our past, but because Masada is a symbol. This is where the last battle took place during the 7 year war in which the Second Temple was destroyed. We lost Masada and along with it Jewish sovereignty over the Land of Israel for the next 1900 years. It was recovered ironically in one of the last battles of the War of Independence (1948) and now again under Jewish sovereignty.

Masada shall not fall again!
