We believe that there is so much to see and do in Israel, and the best way to “see and do” is with your eyes, feet and hands along with your hearts and souls! We have tried – and succeeded – to make Israel ScaVentures an educational and fantastically FUN program for groups of all ages and types! Old City Scavenger Hunts: Hear the story of a 3000 year old capital, and uncover the events of a city’

s emergence, destruction and rebirth – against all odds. Nachlaot Scavenger Hunts: Explore where some of Israel’s most well known political, cultural and religious leaders grew up. Meet the characters, see the sites and feel the unique vibe of the neighborhood. Jerusalem Watchman Scavenger Hunt: This route is designed for Christian visitors to Jerusalem who want to discover and be inspired by the story of an ancient city of Prophets and Kings, Rabbi’s and ordinary folk who built their homes in Jerusalem and strove to live in peace. Highlights on this route include King David’s Tomb, learning the story of the Hurva Synagogue, finding the Menorah that is ready to be used in the Third Temple – and many more exciting discoveries! Yemin Moshe Scavenger Hunt: Discover the fabulous story of the expansion of Jerusalem beyond the Old City. Wandering from the Montefiore Windmill through the winding alleys of Yemin Moshe with an Israel ScaVentures picture pack and learning the story of a frontier neighborhood that became one of Jerusalem’s most beautiful places to visit will complete your Jerusalem experience. Bar/Bat Mitzvah Scavenger Hunt: This will be one of the highlights of your Israel Bar/Bat Mitzvah trip. You will participate in an adventure of navigation and at the same time you will discover your own place in the amazing tapestry of Jewish History. Bar/Bat Mitzvah participants are awarded with a beautiful Bar/Bat Mitzvah certificate of participation. Chanukah Candelight Scavenger Hunt: There is no better time than Chanukah to visit the streets of ancient Jerusalem to solve the mystery of how Jewish scholars and farmers defeated the mighty Greek Empire.

This Shabbat, we join together as one people across the world, united in spirit and prayer. 🌍 In synagogues, homes, and hearts everywhere, we gather as a global Jewish family to light our candles, sing our prayers, and hold tight to hope.

Let us pray for the safety and swift return of all hostages, for protection and strength for our soldiers, and for peace and healing to fill every corner of our land. 🇮🇱💙

As we welcome Shabbat, may our unity be a beacon of resilience and love, connecting us beyond borders and reminding us of the power we have when we stand together.

**Shabbat Shalom** 🕯✡️

On Yom Kippur 1930 the Piaseczner Rebbe spoke about the self sacrifice of the Jewish People and about the transition from crying to joy at the end of the day. May we experience a year of joy after our year of crying. Gmar Chatima Tova, Shabbat Shalom.

One year ago today, on October 7th, 2023, the deadliest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust unfolded at the hands of Hamas terrorists.
1,200 innocent souls were brutally taken, leaving families shattered and communities torn apart.
Over 100 hostages remain captive, their fates uncertain.
Thousands of Israeli children now face the future as orphans, their lives forever scarred. The horror of that day still echoes in our hearts, a reminder of the fragility of life and the resilience of our people.
We mourn, we remember, and we stand together—stronger than ever—against the darkness. Never again. Never forget.
