Inspiring visit to the largest Jewish Necropolis, Har Zatim, Mnt Zion.
Together with Shappels Darche noam we had an inspiring visit of the great personalities buried on Mnt Zion.
When visiting their graves we recollected of the lives and their great contribution to the Jewish world and the world at large.
We visited the Ohr Hachaim, Primer Minster Begin, Ben Yehuda, Rav Kook, Rav Tzvi Yehuda, Rav Sonnenveld, The Alta of Sloboka, Rav Hunter and more.
We stand on the shoulders of the great people that came before us and it is our responsibility to continue following in their ways, our way - Derek Hashem. Am Yisral Chai!!

Gaza Envelope Reality check tour!

🌱 I share our recent adventure with the Aish Hatorah UK young adults trip to Israel. Our day began with a meaningful act of service, volunteering on a farm in the Gaza Envelope, where we meticulously weeded a celery patch, fortifying the soil for the crop. It was a true privilege of working the sacred land of Israel.

👩‍🌾 Energized by our morning of volunteering, we embarked on a journey to Yad Mordechai, where we delved into the history of the Kibbutz movement. Our visit coincided with a poignant moment as we witnessed an air drop into Gaza, a stark reminder of the on going war in Gaza.

👮‍♂️ Our hearts swelled with admiration as we listened to the heroic story of Shai, a courageous police officer from Sderot, who valiantly fought against terrorists on 07.10. His bravery exemplified the unwavering spirit of resilience that defines the people of Israel.

🙏 The tales of valor continued as we heard from Rabbi Shari, miraculously saved during the same harrowing event on 7.10, surviving a terrorist attack. His story served as a testament to the power of faith and trust in the Almighty.

Our journey ended with a visit to the Nova festival site, always a important but difficult site to visit. Despite the somber atmosphere, we were honoured to fulfill the unique mitzvah of writing a Sefer Torah, dedicated to the memory of two fallen warriors - Police Officer Oriel Avraham and IDF Officer Edo Yehoshua. May their names be blessed, and may their sacrifices never be forgotten.

It was a beautiful Jerusalem winter's day were were explored First station, Bible hill, Ketaf Gehanom, Mishkonaot Shannim, and the old city of Jerusalem & Jerusalem Music Museum.

A wonderful day with a wonderful group.

Midreshet Rachael Day 2 tour down south:
Our second day was dedicated to providing support to the families affected by the tragic events of the 07.10 massacre. Beginning our journey in Ofakim, we were humbled to hear from Sharon, a heroine who bravely shared her harrowing tale. She recounted the loss of her husband, Ronnie, a valiant police officer who sacrificed his life defending the residents of Ofakim. Despite her profound grief, Sharon instills in her children the importance of walking with heads held high, as their father remains a true hero of Israel.

The true heroes of 7.10 were the courageous police officers who confronted the assailants armed with AK-47s, grenades, and rocket launchers. Their selfless actions saved the city from the terrorists' onslaught, preventing a catastrophe that could have claimed thousands of innocent lives.

Continuing our journey, we visited Sederot Police Station, where we honored the heroic efforts of the first responders, police officers, and all involved in thwarting the terrorists' plans. Our visit to Sederot Yeshiva further underscored the resilience and unity of the community in the face of adversity.

We then went to the Nova festival massacre, a site visited by thousands daily. Here, we paid our respects to the victims and reflected on the importance of standing together against terror and violence, united in our commitment to peace and solidarity.

We ended our day, At the Shuva Brothers, soldier support and re-fueling station. The ladies mingled with our brave soldiers expressing gratitude for their service & courage.

On this day we took a deep dive into the history that led up to 7.10, unpacked confronted our mistakes, and hopefully learnt from the strength of our peoples unity, chesed and ability to grow and change.

We left wit hope and with the courage to build a new and safer future for Am Yisrael in Eretz Yisrael.

🇮🇱❤️ Two Days in the South of Israel: Reflecting on an impactful journey with Midreshet Rachel 🚗🌄

Day 1:
Our adventure began with a visit to Ben Gurion's kever in Sde Boker, witnessing the oasis around Israels First Prime minsters grave is testament to fulfilling his dream of making the desert bloom . We then went on to the camel view in Mitzpe Ramon and we started the hike down into Michtash Ramon, soaking in panoramic views that stretched to the horizon. It was the most perfect time to visit at the desert revealed a vibrant canvas of rare desert flowers, a testament to the desert's resilience after rare rains. We ended the hike at the Workshop, a unique rock formation resembling crafted wood, marked the end of our day's hike, leaving us in awe of Hashem beauty.

Nightfall brought us to an Alpaca farm, where we learned about these strange creatures, adopting a cautious approach to feeding them to avoid an unexpected spit shower! Under the vast Negev sky, we delved into the mysteries of the cosmos with a stargazing lesson, ending the amazing day around a warm campfire with tales and songs of ascent and praise of the Almighty.

Gaza envelope - Reality CHECK tour

I lead a group down South to the Gaza Envelope. We are one family, one people and we all feel the pain of 7.10.

We tour guides are able to play an important role in bringing family members together. Jews from the Galut want to show their support and the our brother's and sister's in the south have stories that the want to tell and need to be told.

We stand together with them, show support, we listen, try understand and connect.
Out of the ashes, a new and stronger people rise.

Desert Adventure with the the lovely Elefant's
The weather could not have been better - we started our morning visiting the Arugut farm, wind tasting at Sela Winery, then 4x4 in the Judean desert, Ein Gedi, Masada, Camel rides and sunset mincha st Mitzpe Yericho. What a tremendous day what a privilege it is to be loving the Holy Land.
