New on the map - Meet the longest suspension bridge in Israel that is in Jerusalem and its surrounding simply a spectacular view 😊

The bridge stretches 202 meters long, connecting the Guy Ben Hinom uphill and Mount Zion.

And the entrance to it? Free.

Meet ; Jacob’s Well, where Jesus asked the samaritan woman for a drink and offered her “living water”,
Today it lies in the crypt of a modern Greek orthodox church at Nablus in samaria. Located near the archaeological site of Tell Balata — the biblical Shechem .

It is often considered the most authentic site in the Holy Land — since no one can move a well that was originally more than 40 metres deep.

Jewish, Samaritan, Christian and Muslim traditions all associate the well with Jacob.

It was at Shechem that the patriarch Jacob bought “the land on which he had pitched his tent” (Genesis 33:19).

The Samaritan woman reminded Jesus that Jacob “gave us the well, and with his sons and his flocks drank from it”. He told her he was the promised Messiah, and she and many residents of her village believed in him. (John 4:5-42)

Our tour today is at Mount Tabor and the Transfiguration Church .

Mount Tabor was an important tribal landmark in the Hebrew Bible, the place where Deborah and Barak fought the Canaanites .

It is crowned with a magnificent church marking the site traditional site where Peter, James and John saw Jesus transfigured and speaking to Moses and Elijah.

The church, with beautiful modern mosaics, is built over the ruins of ancient churches and offers a fabulous view from the roof. A taxi service runs to the mountaintop from the village of Shibli below as the road is too narrow for the busses to climb up the mount.
