✨ I recently had the privilege of guiding an inspiring group from the Diller teen fellow program in south Spain. Together, we explored a profound chapter of Jewish history that we dont talked about enough ❤️

These incredible teens, alongside a truly dedicated staff of Diller, reminded me of the strength and vibrancy of our heritage. Watching them engage with open hearts and minds gave me so much hope for the future leaders they’re becoming. 🌍💙

I’m deeply grateful for this opportunity, for the connections made, and for the reminder of how powerful it is to bring Jewish history to life. I’d be thrilled to continue guiding groups through Spain and sharing these stories that resonate so deeply.

Thank you, Diller. This was truly air to breathe in these hard times.

And thank you for the amazing photos!

I miss this amazing group from Tucson Arizona.

I miss this inspiring amazing group of people that came here for a few good days, to learn about everything that happened in Israel since October 7th, but more than that, came here to volunteer every single day! And we worked very (very) hard!

I miss Yuval the 'Shlicha' and Emily from the Federation that put their heart and soul into this trip, if you can call it a trip.

I miss this group of people whose top priority was to give, to learn, to hear, and by doing that, they bought light to the darkest of times🤍

I hope to see u all again,
Praying for better days

A few words about this amazing organization called Itrek, that genuinely cares. An organization that I'm super proud to be part of before the war and during.

Itrek is an organization that is not afraid to bring all different voices to the room, for those who choose to be part of a healthy conversation, even when it's not easy, in order to create leaders that believe in peace, whatever that means.

And with everything that is going on, we tour educators are standing on new ground. Itrek has organized an enriching seminar for us, to listen, to learn and to talk, about how we are starting to deal with the new world we are in.

I have no words to thank you, Itrek.
Thank you for caring, for seeing us.

And thank you Haim Yafim Barbalat for the great photos!

Yesterday, I saw something I was not supposed to see. And I'm devastated.

Three plus months after the massacre, walking in one of the Kibbutzim that was heavily attacked.. human broken bones suddenly appear. And all I could think about is my loved ones. We, too, are flesh and blood.
This was maybe someone's grandma? Dad?
I don't even want to write about it.
I wish I could forget.
I will never forget.

Yesterday, I was honored to accompany Adam Neumann delegation to the Gaza Envelope, though .

No words. Praying for better days.

When all of it started,
I could barely talk.

Words felt empty, and everything was (still is) too much. Everything was overwhelming.

So I went back to art. It helped me cope. It helped me express some of the sadness, anger, and frustration.  Some of it, at least.

Then I started looking at other artists, seeing their new work, feeling their feelings, feeling their screams of pain.

Art is essential. We need for so many obvious reasons,  for ourselves and in order to understand each other. In order to understand the Israeli society.

This is an invitation.

If you're planning to come to Israel for a solidarity visit or for any other reason, book a workshop+tour with me.

How should I sum up this trip? Can I even call it a trip?

I have been working as a tour guide for a while now.. and for the last few weeks, spending time with groups that decided to come after October 7th, I felt like I'm standing on new ground, one that I'm not so familiar with.

On your right, you will see.. Well, everything is so painful, so personal. Every speaker, every site, it's all so different.
Life is different. We are different, the land is different, and we are all trying to adjust to this new reality.

Together, we visited the Gaza envelope. We met families of hostages and families that are grieving for their loved ones. We met Israelis, Jews and Muslims, who shared their personal stories. we went to volunteer, to spread some love. This was not an easy journey.
But this visit was so important, I have no words to describe its importance.

Saying goodbye to this beautiful community from Dallas was hard.
They brought so much light to this land, everywhere we went was spiritually greener,
As if they were planting seeds of hope.
Telling us - you are not alone.

Especially now,
Come visit Israel.
We need you.

Let me know if I can help organize your visit to Israel

Temple Emanuel,
I'm going to miss you!

The best thing for a tour guide, is when someone you guide, many years ago, contacts you and says he is coming back, and want to tour with me again!

Then the travel moves from being a guided tour group to a travel with an old good friend ❤

And what a pleasure it was for me to see you again and to get to know your amazing mother and the beautiful wife Mor!

I really hope there will be a third time ❤ already miss you guys

Trying to make lemonade out of lemons

For the last year and a half, since Covid-19 started, I have been trying to do my best,
my real best to keep going.. to keep positive, even though this was truly a tough year as some of you know.

The skies of Israel will close for tourists once again this month, and there is no due date for when they will open again. This time, the government said that there will be no economic support for tour guides. Nothing. No tourists and no support from the government.

So here I am,
Trying to make lemonade out of lemons. Thinking that maybe now will be the best time to fulfill my dream, sharing my art with the world. Maybe this is the time to publish my book.

I'm actually petrified, I don't know if this will work, and I want to gently ask for your help, to be part of my dream.
How?

I opened a HeadStart project.
It is the Israeli parallel to Kickstarter that maybe some of you know... It's basically a crowdfunding project that you can support the project by buying the book (IN ENGLISH- will be shipped to your homes wherever you are) and making my dream come true

Happy and sad at the same time.

I took this video last week from Masada. It has been more than a year since I visited this place.

Maybe a bit pathetic but I had tears in my eyes when the bus pulled over to drop me and my group off.

Israel skies will soon close up again and no tourists will be able to visit. This time, the government will not support tour guides. I don't know what to say..
Just happy that I had my short moment with this group to remind me that this is my place, this is my calling.

When all of this will pass, I'll be here waiting for you. ❤

Just when I thought this year couldn't get any worse, just when there was a bit of light on the horizon, this week happened

I received so many questions and messages from my friends all around the world. Some asked about my safety, told me to take care, sent prayers, and sent love and support. Some asked me about the situation, trying to get a better understanding of it all. Some texted me that they are very much against Israel but they hope I am okay, others blocked me after apologizing for having to do it, "it's part of boycotting Israel" they said. Some just want to know what is really going on..

I wasn't very communicative this week, my entire body was aching with sadness about it all.

I want to invite you to join me for a virtual meeting to get a better understanding of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the current events.

This Sunday 19:00-20:30 Israel time
thats 12 noon in New York
and 17:00 in London
