Today our Career Israel participants went on a tour of One-Step. Their company’s founders created an application that uses motion sensors to analyze functional movement that can then be used by the user or their physical therapist. Clinicians can use this data to make better decisions about their patients health status sooner, from any place at any time.
We’re constantly seeking out different organizations to tour and look at so we can provide our participants with new and exciting opportunities!

Koyo - from Tokyo, Japan 🇯🇵

Background - 📚 English Literature at Gakushuin University

Koyo always wanted to experience life in Israel to discover her family heritage and successfully got accepted to do an internship at FRÉ Skincare in the marketing department.

Koyo has further excelled her marketing knowledge and gained practical experience in the social media team.

She reflects on her time here so far -
“I’m enjoying Israel so much especially Tel Aviv! 🏙 I love the beach and it’s full of life and really enjoyed meeting people from different countries in the program.
I feel like these friendships are going to be lifelong friendships”. Her favourite thing to do is walk to the beach at the end of the day and see the sunset 🌅

Andrea’s dream was to move to Israel since she did Taglit in 2017. Quickly she realized that before making Aliyah she wanted to get experience working in High-Tech, so our internship placement specialist found her exactly what she needed to start a successful career in Israel. She got an internship in a fast-growing company called Similarweb, and after finishing it, her life was never the same 😀

On a trip to the Negev ☀️ fellows had a cultural experiences: in the traditional tent, over a cup of tea, they heard the inspiring story of Miriam - the living spirit behind the “Desert Daughter” - a proud daughter of the Bedouin Abu-Rakeik family. In the workshop fellows made homemade cosmetic cream from the rosemary plant! 🤩

A***n came from London 🇬🇧 to take a break during is Bachelor of Architecture degree and do an internship in his field. Only after a few weeks he understood that this could be more than a 5 months break and it is going to be hard even impossible to leave Tel Aviv. A***n is learning so much from his internship, while he only worked on houses🏠 in England he has the opportunity here to work on projects for development of towers and tall buildings 🏢. What an opportunity!

Josh had a career in real estate in London 🇬🇧 but he always had this passion for music inside of him that he wanted to express. Our internship placement specialist found him exactly what he needed: an internship in the music industry at One Submit with a great manager baked Oren. He gets to learn more about the music industry while he can develop his passion for singing. Stay tuned we might some great news about Josh coming soon 😉🎤🎧
