The Cathedral or basilica, built in 1831-37. Minaret, 17th century. The northernmost Turkish minaret in Europe is 40 meters high and one of only three survivors in Hungary. It can be climbed for a good view of the city centre. "City under the city" a system of cellars near the Cathedral. "The Valley of Beautiful Women". A valley which has numerous vine cellars, many with their own wine bars with the best Hungarian red wines. The Baroque Church is the focal point of the city's most imposing sqare. Dobogókő is found above the level of the Baltic sea 699.746 meters high in the Visegrad mountains. This is a beautiful panoramic point to the Danube and the mountains.
