Currently, our amazing team members, Lorena Martin Mayoral and Laura Yañez, along with Global Sales Director Rami Holtzman, are in Spain meeting with key local travel agencies specializing in Australia.

Together, they're discussing ways to enhance our partnership and boost sales for Qantas Airways, our proud airline partner in Spain & Portugal.

Global Air Passenger Demand Reaches Record High in 2024

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) released 2024 full-year and December 2024 passenger market performance showing record high demand.

2024 made it absolutely clear that people want to travel. With 10.4% demand growth, travel reached record numbers domestically and internationally. Airlines met that strong demand with record efficiency.

On average, 83.5% of all seats on offer were filled—a new record high.

Last week, TAL Aviation held a two-day conference in Addis Ababa, hosted in collaboration with our airline partner Ethiopian Airlines.

The event brought together TAL Aviation Country Managers and sales leaders from the Balkans, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Israel, Poland, Romania, TAL Aviation Head Office and other European regions.

The primary focus of the conference was to align on sales strategies, discuss goals and developments, and foster collaboration across the regions and departments.
It was a great opportunity to share insights and explore new ways to strengthen our partnership with Ethiopian Airlines, paving the way for future success.

The experience wasn’t limited to the meeting room!

One of the highlights was a tour of the airline’s aviation academy – an impressive facility showcasing the airline’s commitment to excellent and innovation.
We also enjoyed meaningful networking moments over dinners and explored the vibrant culture of Addis Ababa.

FITUR, the Madrid International Tourism Trade Fair, is the first global meeting point of the year for tourism professionals. Held annually in the second half of January, it offers an opportunity for stakeholders in the sector to come together and discuss key priorities for the coming year.

TAL Aviation Group will participate in the upcoming FITUR 2025, taking place from January 22 to 26, 2025, at IFEMA, Madrid.
