New attraction Masada Challenge on the edge of the cliff outside of the walls

New and unique trail outside of Masada walls.
The path allows a safe exit outside Masada's wall and a visit to hidden archaeological assemblages, which until today were inaccessible due to their challenging location.

Important update for travel to Israel: New Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) required

Starting August 2024, all visitors (except those requiring a visa) will need an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) before traveling to Israel.
Apply online! The website launches June 1st
https://www.gov.il/en/departments/population_and_immigration_authority/govil-landing-page.

Cost – The cost of ETA-IL is NIS 25 per person

Benefits:
*Faster entry process for visitors from visa-exempt countries.
*Stay up to 90 days with approved ETA.
*Valid for 2 years (or passport expiry).
*Pilot program starts June 1st for US & German citizens (voluntary).
*Mandatory for all nationalities from August 1st.

The museum HaMizgaga (המזגגה) in Kibbutz Nachsholim is an wonder that was traced under water at Tel Dor Bay in 1980.

The reveals fascinating ancient founds from different time periods: Hasmonean, Hellenistic, Roman and even a chilling testimony to one night on 5/21/1799, when Napoleon's army retreated after his defeat in Acre towards Jaffa.

"Hear O Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One" (Shema Yisrael Adonai eloheinu Adonai ehad).

The prayer assembly (of "Shema Israel") was broadcasted live last Thursday (March 21) from the Western Wall in Jerusalem to tens of thousands of people in Israel and around the world.

Representatives of the families of the hostages and missing, along with many others gathered on Taanit (the fast of) Esther, as one – with one heart – to pray for the return of the hostages and the welfare of the IDF soldiers.

Today the Purim Festival will be celebrated in memory of the Jewish people in the Persian Empire's survival in the face of destruction.

The Adloyada (Purim's carnival festivity) is returning today to Jerusalem after 42 years, to unite the people and to spread hope, while offering a prayer for the future, especially at this time.

"The Carpet of Good Hope" , which is on display since few weeks near the "Generators Square" on the Dado beach promenade.

The project, curated by Yael Nitzan, included 1,500 women from all over Israel - Jewish, Arab, Bedouin and Druze - volunteered to support, express identification and create a sense of partnership with the bereaved families and with the families of the abductees from all over the country.

For about a month and a half, the women made 700 rugs, which together created a huge rug with an area of ​​1,500 square meters.

The project, was carried out with the assistance of the Beaches Department of the Municipality of Haifa and under the auspices of the "Heritage of Pioneering Women" museum, which will be built in Haifa, in the Wadi Salib neighborhood, during the coming months.
