I had the honor of guiding a group of Australians through the heart of resilience and loss near Gaza. We walked through the burnt homes of Kibbutz Be’eri, stood at the old police station in Sderot to learn about the courageous fight there, volunteered at a kitchen serving meals to soldiers, and visited the site of the Nova festival, where joy turned to tragedy.

It was a tough journey, but bearing witness to these stories and places is more important than ever. Together, we remembered, reflected, and honored the strength of those affected.

Back in the saddle, or should I say back on a tank?
The war situation in my country sent me last week, for round 2.0 of reserve duty for a month and a half.
Back with my teammates, but far away from home.
Wishing for peaceful days and hoping to see all of the hostages back home soon 🎗️.

Another day in the office? I was lucky enough to guide a two-day tour in the desert during those troubling days when suddenly sirens blared and rockets from Gaza were shot at us. There wasn't much to do besides lying on the ground and praying.

I was lucky enough to be chosen to take part in the Birthright Educators Forum, Cohort 3. Together with educators from the US and Israel, we spent a whole week trying to figure it out together.

Mission accomplished?
After nearly 150 rainy and muddy days in the reserves since October 7th, I've finally been released. We were emergency drafted immediately after the massacre and did our best to protect the borders since then. Now, looking forward to reclaiming my life. Wishing you all peaceful and quiet days, and hoping to see some of you soon in Israel or the States. 🇮🇱🇺🇸

What can be more crazy those days than getting a 10 days off from the reserve army in order to go and do my passion in life- To guide around Israel. We volunteer at building games for evacuated kids, visit the hostages square and heard a first-hand testimony of the massacre survivor- But also danced in the market and floated in the dead sea. I'm thankful for the 26 Americans that were brave enough to come, and to and for bringing them here.
