This morning a friend picked me up and we drove up north. We met a bunch of seemingly random people with big smiles and big hearts, who had all decided to meet with one goal- to support our soldiers!
For a couple of hours I helped grilling food with multiple others as soldier ate great food and thanked us with huge smiles.

I tried to explain to them that I should be thanking them and not the other way around. At the end of the day as we headed home my heart was happier and much more full than it has been in a while.

Seeing smiles and being around people who want to give and help makes the day so much better!

At the age of 104 Rabbi Aharon Leib Shteinman passed away this morning. Rabbi Shteinman was the leader of the Lithuanian sect of the Ultra - orthodox Jewish community. Thousands of his followers have been streaming into the city of Bnei Brak to pay their last respects. Rabbi Shteinman was an example of a truly pious leader. For most of his life he lived in a small 2 room apartment in a rundown building in Bnai Brak. He was a very pragmatic leader. In his every action he spread the values that he lived by which were a love of the Tora and the Love of your fellow Jew.
