In the midst of one of the most severe crises to hit the tourism industry in Israel, coupled with an ongoing conflict and the anxious wait for the return of our hostages, deciding to proceed with hashtag#IMTM2024 was far from obvious. As organizers, we understood that celebrating our 30th anniversary on the grand scale we had planned wouldn’t be possible this year. However, as committed members of the Israeli tourism community, we felt a responsibility to continue the tradition and fuel it with hope and resilience.
IMTM 2024 might have been on a smaller scale, but it was immense in spirit. Thousands of tourism professionals gathered to support our colleagues from the north and south and to meet with the courageous countries that chose to participate: Greece, Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Taiwan, Romania, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Panama, Czech Republic, Ethiopia, El Salvador, and India.
The event also featured sessions and seminars, providing attendees with essential tools to prepare for the future.
This year, with the support of the Incoming Tour Operators Association in Israel, the Israeli Tourism Ministry, and the Fattal Hotel Chain, we launched the first Tourism Hackathon focused on marketing strategies to attract tourists back to Israel. The success was beyond our expectations, and we are excited to continue this tradition in future IMTMs.
We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who helped make IMTM 2024 possible—our resourceful team, partners, exhibitors, suppliers, and every participant. Your support was essential to the success of this event. We look forward to welcoming you to next year’s IMTM, which we hope will be bigger and more celebratory than ever.

Dear valued clients and colleagues from across the world, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support to our team. Your kind words, personal messages, emails, and social media interactions have been a great source of encouragement. We are currently working towards rescheduling the remaining conferences and events initially planned for 2023 to 2024. We are updating all attendees about the latest developments and will keep you posted. Thank you once again for your trust and support.
These are disturbing times, with lives lost and families torn apart in the recent brutal attacks by Hamas on Israel, and our hearts burn for the men, women, children, and babies killed, injured, or kidnapped in Gaza. Our team stands strong amidst this crisis, drawing strength from your support, knowing better days are soon to come.

IAPCO 2023: Inspiring Technology, Creating an Impact
This past week hosting the 53rd IAPCO Annual Meeting and General Assembly has been an incredible experience of learning, getting inspired, acquiring real-life tools, and of course, feeling the joy of meeting with our international colleagues again.
Between John Medved (OurCrowd) talking about old and Jerusalem, Inner Development Goals workshops by Jan and Elinor, Technology and equality discussions from Appleseeds, Dr. Lior Zoref on crowd wisdom, Dr. Efrat Liani on leadership and strategy, to being empowered by Dahlia Feldheim, Author of "Dare to Lead Like a Girl," and finally moved to tears by the PICO Kids organization and Ziv Shillon's amazing story, we are left with no more to say but THANK YOU!
Thank you to our fabulous keynote speakers, Kenes Group and ORTRA's devoted teams, Jerusalem CVB, the IAPCO Council, and all our overseas friends who joined us in Jerusalem. We had a terrific time! #IAPCO2023
