We are delighted to once again organize the annual conference for the Israel Society for Liver Study. Collaborating closely with Ruth Tzruya, our Accounts Manager of Medical Meetings, this year’s event is taking place at the Dan Caesarea Hotel.

This conference brings together 150 participants and features a special parallel track dedicated to nurses.

The event is currently underway and will continue through tomorrow. We look forward to a productive and insightful gathering.

🎹🥁🎼🎤Celebrating 20 years of "Who Am I? Israeli Song! (מי אני? שיר ישראלי!)" - an annual event by Bar-Ilan University's Department of Music. Each year, this event culminates in a research conference on Israeli music followed by an evening celebration where an award of recognition is presented to a distinguished creator.
This year, the accolade was bestowed upon the esteemed composer and songwriter Yair Klinger. The evening featured performances by various artists singing Klinger's songs, including the IDF Education Corps Band, the Integrated Instruments Band (comprising musicians with disabilities), Bar-Ilan University's BA MA musical ensemble, the Beit Zvi School's musical ensemble, along with artists Revital Zaltzman, Tal Sondak, Aviva Avidan, and Yehuda Sa'ado.
The Wohl Center was abuzz with 800 attendees who sang along, creating an atmosphere filled with joy and the best of Israeli music. An unforgettable evening of celebration and melody! 🎶

Today marks the successful conclusion of the 71st Annual Conference of the Israel Heart Society, conducted in collaboration with the Israel Society of Cardiothoracic Surgery. Over 1,000 health professionals convened to participate in a rich program that included numerous parallel sessions, a dynamic exhibition, and, notably, the introduction of new innovative plenary sessions and the "Sciences Box" held in the exhibition hall.

This year's conference holds profound significance due to the extraordinary circumstances faced by medical teams who continue to serve tirelessly amidst ongoing conflicts. Their dedication under such challenging conditions added a layer of depth and urgency to our discussions and collaborations.

We are thankful to our distinguished guest speakers who joined us from the US, UK, and Canada, and to the industry for their role in an impressive exhibition and insightful satellite sessions. Our gratitude extends to our clients who have trusted us to organize this pivotal conference for the fifth consecutive year, culminating in a truly successful event.

We have officially kicked off the “Board of Governors – Solidarity Board 2024” of the Technion that will span until this Wednesday. Yesterday an elegant dinner was held at the Dan Hotel in Haifa, honoring the 100th birthday of Mr. Amos Horev, former President of the Technion. This special evening paid tribute to his vast contributions and lasting impact on the institution.

Yesterday, we had the privilege of hosting the "We Are One: The 87th International Board of Governors" for the Hebrew University of Jerusalem at the National Library of Israel in Jerusalem. This prestigious event united 150 participants, including 90 distinguished guests from around the world, for a welcome reception that celebrated unity and collaboration.

The evening featured an enchanting live music performance, an official ceremony, and a guided tour of the library’s treasures, each element meticulously curated to warmly welcome our international guests and foster a deeper connection to our cultural heritage.

🌿 Thrilled to reflect on the success of 'The Israeli Association of Landscape Architects – A Place to Dream' hosted at Expo TLV. With more than 850 participants and numerous exhibitors and sponsors, this event was a vibrant hub of innovation and community engagement.

The conference delved into the challenges of public spaces in accommodating events and communities amidst turbulent surroundings. It explored how our living environments can contribute to enhancing life within them. Landscape architects and students came together for a day packed with compelling content and a professional exhibition, all aimed at making our lives a bit more pleasant.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of organizing the 2nd annual Multi-Disciplinary Diabetes and Obesity Conference, organized by the SPHERE—Social Precision Medicine Health Equity Research Endeavour by Bar-Ilan University's Azrieli Faculty of Medicine, at the Golden Crown Hotel in Nazareth! A gathering of 430 brilliant minds delved into cutting-edge research on diabetes and obesity.
The conference featured riveting lectures on the latest advancements in the field and multidisciplinary sessions covering treatment strategies, prevention, and management of diabetes, including complication prevention, environmental interventions, health disparities in socio-economic peripheries, ethical issues, nursing, nutrition, and foundational research.

Alongside the main conference agenda, a professional exhibition and a display of scientific posters enriched the dialogue, and the Israeli Guide to Diabetes Treatment was distributed.

This vital event was held in proud collaboration with the Department of Environment, Planning, and Sustainability at Bar-Ilan University, Israel Union for Environmental Defense, the Goldfarb Gross Seligman Law Office, and the Ministry of Environmental Protection.

Last Thursday, we concluded the third two-day ISCR&IIS Joint Immuno-Oncology Meeting in memory of Prof. Ronnie Apte, held at Ben Gurion University—Faculty of Health Sciences. Despite being postponed and nearly canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, including a stressful Iranian attack, over 300 dedicated researchers participated in this resilient gathering.
Challenges abounded—flights were canceled, and some speakers had to join remotely—but the commitment to sharing knowledge and fostering discussions on immuno-oncology was rigid. The presence of our two invited speakers in person, alongside remote contributions, underscored our community's resilience and global commitment to this field, making us all part of a more extensive, impactful network.

The conference was more than an intellectual gathering. It was also a much-needed breath of air amidst the constant stress, allowing us to focus on the normalcy and beauty of scientific exchange. This was made possible thanks to the firm belief in the significance of this conference held by our esteemed Conference Board and Academic Committee: Angel Porgador, Cyrille Cohen, Roi Gazit, Amiram Ariel, Neta Erez, Elena Voronov, and Mahmoud Huleihel. Your faith in the importance of our collaboration turned challenges into a remarkable success. Thank you to everyone involved for making this event an inspiration of knowledge and resilience. In the midst of one of the most severe crises to hit the tourism industry in Israel, coupled with an ongoing conflict and the anxious wait for the return of our hostages, deciding to proceed with IMTM 2024 was far from obvious. As organizers, we understood that celebrating our 30th anniversary on the grand scale we had planned wouldn’t be possible this year. However, as committed members of the Israeli tourism community, we felt a responsibility to continue the tradition and fuel it with hope and resilience.

IMTM 2024 might have been on a smaller scale, but it was immense in spirit. Thousands of tourism professionals gathered to support our colleagues from the north and south and to meet with the courageous countries that chose to participate: Greece, Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Taiwan, Romania, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Panama, Czech Republic, Ethiopia, El Salvador, and India.
The event also featured sessions and seminars, providing attendees with essential tools to prepare for the future.

This year, with the support of the Incoming Tour Operators Association in Israel, the Israeli Tourism Ministry, and the Fattal Hotel Chain, we launched the first Tourism Hackathon focused on marketing strategies to attract tourists back to Israel. The success was beyond our expectations, and we are excited to continue this tradition in future IMTMs.

We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who helped make IMTM 2024 possible—our resourceful team, partners, exhibitors, suppliers, and every participant. Greetings from Eilat! Today, we mark a significant milestone as we host the 10th edition of the Eilat-Eilot Renewable Energy Conference at the Dan Eilat Hotel. This year's event is a testament to the enduring spirit and resilience of the Israeli community and our dedicated partners at the Eilat-Eilot Renewable Energy Initiative.

In times that have tested us all, we've been reminded of the power of unity and the importance of pushing forward. Our commitment to organizing this pillar event of the renewable energy field has been met with an overwhelming response: more than 900 professionals from across the country have joined us, exceeding all expectations!
