This year feels special. and are celebrated together, creating a rare and beautiful moment that invites us to reflect on the deeper meaning of these holidays.

Hanukkah is a celebration of hope, resilience, and the miracle of light. Christmas brings us together with its spirit of giving, renewal, and joy. While each tradition is unique, they both remind us of the values we share - family, love, and the importance of creating light even in the darkest times.

As these holidays overlap, it’s a chance to pause and appreciate the ways different traditions can inspire us to connect and celebrate together.

Wishing everyone a holiday season full of warmth, meaning, and togetherness.

Hag Hannukah Sameach!
Merry Christmas!

It’s hard to believe it’s been 442 days since that unimaginable day - October 7, 2023. It feels like a lifetime ago and yet, like it just happened yesterday.

Past week, our entire team took time to remember and honor the lives we lost visiting Gaza envelope area that was attacked by HAMAS. Standing among the ruins of Kfar Aza and seeing the faces of those taken at the Nova party was devastating. Hearing the stories from Kibbutz Alumim left us heartbroken, and the sight of burned cars riddled with bullet holes was a haunting reminder of the horrors of that day.

But even in the midst of so much pain, we saw the unshakable spirit of our people. Bat Sheva Dadon, who spent months feeding soldiers, welcomed us with her warmth and generosity, showing us what resilience truly looks like. It’s moments like these that remind us of the strength and kindness that keep us going.

Times are tough, but Israel is tougher. We will overcome, we will grow stronger, and we will never forget. A huge thank you to everyone who made this day of reflection possible.

At the edge of the world’s lowest point, the Dead Sea quietly endures. Its stark beauty and otherworldly stillness remind us that even in the harshest places, there is strength — and even in silence, there is power.

In winter, when the air is crisp and the crowds are gone, this place feels timeless, like a pause in the rush of life. Standing here, you can’t help but reflect on resilience— of the land, the people, and the spirit that rises, again and again, against all odds.

In the stillness of winter, Masada’s ancient stones seem to speak louder. This fortress, where the Jewish people made their last stand for freedom 2,000 years ago, stands today as a reminder of unwavering courage and unity in the face of adversity.

Climbing Masada in winter, as the cool desert breeze carries the first light of dawn, is more than a hike — it’s a journey into history and a connection to the enduring spirit of Israel.

Now, as the fight for peace and security continues, Masada’s message of resilience feels more powerful than ever.

There’s something magical about the way the Mediterranean transforms in winter. Stroll along the ancient port of Jaffa, where history meets the sea, or wander the ruins of Caesarea, with waves crashing against millennia-old walls. For a truly enchanting vibe, lose yourself in the alleyways of Akko, where the sea breeze carries whispers of the past.

Under winter skies, the coastline becomes a place of peace, reflection, and beauty that’s impossible to ignore.

November in Israel’s desert regions is a truly special experience - just as the days cool down, the vast, open landscapes invite you to explore.

For those looking to connect with nature, the Negev and Judean deserts offer incredible trails for hiking and spots where the silence is as breathtaking as the scenery. Or, take a jeep ride across the dunes and rugged trails, discovering hidden spots that tell stories of ancient times.

And if unwinding is your goal, there are secluded desert hotels where you can enjoy peaceful mornings and clear, starry nights. The vastness of the desert has a way of grounding us, reminding us of the beauty in stillness and simplicity.

During challenging times, these spaces offer a unique sense of calm and connection to the land.

Simchat Torah is a celebration of joy, renewal, and the endless wisdom of the Torah. But this year, as we dance and rejoice, we carry with us the weight of the past year's hardships and the pain of lives lost to terror.

In the face of such darkness, the Torah teaches us resilience. Just as we finish one cycle and begin another, we find strength in renewal, hope in each new beginning, and unity in tradition.

We dance not only in celebration but as a statement: that even in our hardest moments, we remain unbreakable.

May this Simchat Torah remind us of the power of joy, even through the tears, and the strength that comes from standing together.

This year has tested us in so many ways,
but like the rainbow after the rain,
we continue to rise, grow,
and find beauty in every moment.

As we sit under the open skies of our sukkahs, we celebrate life, renewal, and the strength of our people and this beautiful land.

Israel stands strong, full of hope and resilience — no matter the challenges.

Chag Sameach! 🌿🇮🇱
