Perfect stay in jaffa

We picked this vrbo due to the great reviews and we absolutely loved it.
My only regret was we were so busy exploring we got very little down time in the apartment or to hang with the lovely hosts.
This vrbo is in the best location in jaffa... a fabulous hummus place just steps away (don't miss it). An easy downhill walk to the port with all the restaurants there and an equally easy stroll uphill you the old jaffa area with so much shopping and eating.
The apartment itself was quiet and peaceful, great ac and such a comfortable bed. The living room was huge and bright with a tv.
I cant recommend this vrbo enough and we would for sure stay here again

Sorry I missed the AirBNB review deadline! When we returned to USA there were too many things to take care of, and I thought I could send in the review today but now they won't accept it. Anyway your apartment was perfect for our stay and we really appreciate your kindness.

Vintage Apartment fantastic for Regular Visitors to tel Aviv.

A lovely apartment in a 1920's (?) property. (19 HaDolfin, Yaffo). Our host, Issy, was absolutely charming. We had use of a full kitchen, a spare bedroom and a washing machine and that was most welcome! Wi-Fi naturally and basic multi-channels TV - which we did not have time to use as we were out! There's a bistro/wine bar on the corner and a handy corner shop just around the corner for basics. At the other end of the street, a hummus 'bar' popular with the locals. It's a short walk to the flea-market and old clock tower with a great selection of cafes and restaurants. Also very close to the old town with its windy streets and the regenerated old harbour. We made use of the Tel-O-Fun cycle rental which really extended our range in the city - and several pick-up/drop off points were nearby. We returned to the airport using the mini-bus shuttle, which picks up at nearby Hotel Margosa - a bit cheaper than the taxi, especially if you're a single traveller. As part our our holiday this time, we took the public bus to Jerusalem - very comfortable and convenient. For more history, We took the 1:30 train ride to Acre/Akko - the Crusader port.. Very much a 'multi-modal' transport experience this year! I heartily recommend Old Jaffo as a place to stay.

Perfect base for our 3 weeks in Israel

I used to live in Israel. I left in 1984. The last time I went back was 1994. This time my husband, son and his fiancee came with me. So HaDolphin 19 was perfect. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms separated by a kitchen and living room. We made it our home for the 3 weeks and from there took day trips and overnights all over Israel. There was always parking. There is a restaurant on both corners (one extremely famous for humous) and a grocery store near by. Issy and his wife were more than hospitable. This was financially more viable than staying in hotels for 21 days, and made it possible to stay in some really great ones in our overnight trips. Highly recommended.

Dear Israel and Paula!
Although I wrote a recensie on about our staying with you yesterday (15-8) and from which I thought it was in time (before the 16th!) => I was surprised to hear from airbnb that it was too late!!!
I am really sorry. That's why I wil give a reaction in this way, directly to you. We had a wonderful time in your apartment, wich felt very spacious and comfortable for us and like a real "home". The peaceful and beautiful garden was an extra gift and we loved it! Thank you so much for your (technical) help and advices, especially about the amazing dance performance from Itzik Galili, which we enjoyed and still are enjoying long after!!!! Also for helping us out on our day of depart to the airport, that was great.
The only remark : the matrasses in the small bedroom are, in our opinion, rather on the hard side. Maybe that's personal, but that's how Sophie and Leonie experienced it.
All together we had a great and lovely time and we would love to come again.
