Dear friends
As you all know, on Sunday, October 7, early morning, terrorists breached Israel’s southern border, launching indiscriminate attacks on innocent people, including infants, children, and the elderly. The State of Israel is engaged in a conflict that we are confident we will ultimately overcome. Unfortunately, we have to acknowledge that there is no knowing how long the security situation will remain uncertain.
Israelis are still counting their deaths, and so far, at least 1,300 people have been announced dead (among them women, infants, children, and the elderly). We received many emails from you, our travelers in the recent and long past, expressing your deep and honest concern for our safety and the Israeli people. Your concern is touching and warms our hearts. Our family is safe in Tel Aviv. We do our best to help the people from the south, and our soldiers, like thousands of volunteers all over the country.
The people of Israel are strong and united and we will overcome!
President Biden expressed the US support for Israel in an honorable way that moved us all.
