●कल तक सबको सलाम ठोकने वाला चौकीदार बन गया कलेक्टर●

भौतिक सुख-सुविधाओं के हम आदी हो चुके हैं. और इसी ने हमें आलसी बना दिया है. निजी कंपनी में नौकरी करने वाले लोग अक्सर यह कहते हुए पाए जाते हैं कि यार कंपनी बहुत काम लेती है. 9 घंटे की नौकरी…… 10 घंटे की नौकरी…. सारा समय ऑफिस में निकल जाता है……. ……ब्ला…ब्ला. पर इस खबर को पढ़ने के बाद शायद आप ये फिर कभी ना कह पाएंगे

14 वर्षों से सिक्युरिटी गार्ड की नौकरी कर रहे एक युवक ने अपने दूसरे प्रयास में भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा की परीक्षा पास कर ली. युवक शादीशुदा और बाल-बच्चेदार है. उड़ीसा के रहने वाले इस युवक का नाम जोति रंजन बागरती है. बागरती ने उस परीक्षा को पास कर दिखाया है जिसे पास करने के लिए विद्यार्थी दिल्ली, मुंबई, पटना जैसे नगरों में अपनी जिंदगी के 5 से 10 वर्ष झोंक देते हैं.

दस वर्ष पहले अपने पहले प्रयास में असफल होने के बाद वो पिछले दो वर्षों से इस परीक्षा की तैयारी कर रहा था. अभी मदुरै में उसका प्रशिक्षण चल रहा है.

भारत में कई ऐसे व्यक्ति हुए हैं जिन्होंने अभावों से जूझते हुए असाधारण सफलता हासिल की है. इससे पहले भी अभावों में जूझते हुए रिक्शा चालक के बेटे गोविंद जायसवाल ने भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा की परीक्षा पास की थी.

जम्मू-कश्मीर के सोपोर क्षेत्र के एक दुकानदार के बेटे बशीर अहमद भट्ट भी सिविल सेवा परीक्षा पास कर सुर्शियों में आए थे. इन गुदड़ी के लालों की जीवटता से सिविल सेवा परीक्षा की तैयारी कर रहे युवाओं में उर्जा और उमंग का संचार होता है. इससे समाज में सकारात्मक संदेश जाता है जिससे कई लोगों को प्रेरणा मिलती है।
